  1.  Shallow, shallow, shallow

Beautiful people in beautiful locations, a story fueled by gossip. Yes if this was a magazine it would be Heat. Why bother exploring the deep emotions these characters are going through when you can can skim over the surface in the shallowist of styles. The same applies for the locations, LA one of the most amazing cities in the world simply described as "the place with the skinny palm trees". This book is almost like a B Movie, so bad it's brilliant.

  2.  Everything you need for Christmas

Great work play, everything my kids need in one go for an awesome Christmas Present at a great price.

  3.  Charming

This is a thoroughly charming read. The characters are believable and you feel an instant empathy with them. It's as much a study of how fragile the human mind is, as a love story. Treating the topic sympathetically and informatively without being too heavy or depressing. It's a tale of joy and hope and guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

  4.  A harrowing tale of the death of humanity

The book revolves around the experiences of the main character, a boy growing up in Shanghai at the turn of the war and his experiences under Japanese occupation. It is a wonderfully written book which highlights the lengths people will go to to survive even if it involves losing their humanity in the process. Don't be put off by the fact this book is set during the war it is a fantastic study of human nature and a must read.

  5.  Amazing surprise

When i first started reading Horn I was intrigued more than expectant, where could such a ludicrous idea go? But before long I was lost in the story and engrossed by the characters. This is a beautiful story with the characters woven expertly into the narrative. What seems like a straight forward tale twists and turns keeping you engrossed and surprised right up to the end. This was simply a fantastic read I didn't want to end.

     Oh dear

I love disater movies, and The Day After Tomorrow is one of my favourite films of all time, but 2012 is nothing more then a series of impressive special effects linked together by the thinest storyline line acted out in disatrous fashion.
