  1.  Lovely tunic

    Posted:

I would say this is a tunic rather than a tshirt. I wore it like a dress with black tights underneath. It's a bit loose in the midsection so I wore a belt around it and it looked great. The zip up the middle of the back is a great touch. The tunic/dress is kind of short but wearing tights underneath solves the problem. The neckline is high but the sleeves can go off shoulder if you wish. Lovely item! I am 5'3" tall and got a size 10 which fit great.

  2.  Stunning

This film is amazing. A detailed black and white telling of Ian Curtis's life before and during Joy Division, right up until May 18th 1980. It includes an amazing cast featuring Sam Riley, who is just brilliant as well as Samantha Morton who plays Debbie. The music of Joy Division haunts the background of the film. Interestingly, all the actors actually played their own instruments and Sam sings so it's all real and it's very believable. This film made me fall in love with Joy Division, you will too, buy it!

  3.  amazing 3rd album!

Such a great follow up to Riot! I love all the songs on the album but especially Brick by Boring Brick, The Only Exception, and Playing God. The cd has a rawer, edgier sound, and a few lovely slower songs. You won't be disappointed with this one.

  4.  Great purchase

Good little short sleeve cardigan. Coral/orange in colour and features two buttons at the top, which is part of the collar. Stops just above belly button so need to wear vest or top underneath. Really lovely soft material, great for Autumn! I got a M and I am a size 10, it fits great.

  5.  Great shirt

I'm very pleased with this purchase! I bought a size M and I am a 10-12, which fits perfectly! The design is still in great condition too. I have not attempted to tumble dry this due to fear of shrinking. I would recommend you air dry it.

  6.  From Andy's point of view

This book is told entirely from Andy's perspective. He discusses love, fashion, art, money, sex and more. It's a funny and insightful look into the person Andy really was. A must read for Warhol fans.

  7.  Gripping memoir

This memoir tells about Rachel Sontag's controlling and manipulative father, Stephen Sontag through vivid memories and past experiences. This touching and sad novel is very well written and I would definitely recommend it.

  8.  Brilliant read!

The Other Boleyn girl tells the story of Anne and Mary Boleyn and how they both fought for the love of King Henry VII. This book is amazing from start to finish, I couldn't put it down! A must have for any Tudor history lover!

  9.  Interesting...

Very interesting film about nineteenth century oil man - Daniel Plainview and his life. Daniel Day Lewis is truly memorable in the role. Great cinematography and brilliant score by Jonny Greenwood from Radiohead. The only bad thing I would say is that the ending is very strange and kind of a let down. The film builds and builds...I just kind of expected something more. All in all- definitely worth a watch- something unique and memorable.

  10.  Very enjoyable

This is an indie film- as well as kind of a chick-flick- but don't let that put you off. It's by the same people who made American Splendor (an amazing film). Scarlet Johannson stars as a nanny for an upper east side new york family. It's funny, touching, sad- a great story! If you aren't sure if it's your cup of tea- you may be surprised. Watch it and see for yourself. I really liked it and didn't expect it to be as good as it was.
