Dead Space 2: Limited Edition

I loved the first game and now that I'm a little over half way through the second I can happily say I think this is even better.
The quality of the graphics, sound and story just add that extra bit of atmosphere and immersion.
Everything that was great about the first has been retained and with some improvements in other areas, including the game length, slightly longer than the original with more variety with some outstanding set-pieces.
I really hope this sells well or we'll end up with nothing but FPS like COD etc as they seem to make the big sales.
Anyone who liked the original will not be disappointed, anyone else who has an interest in Sci-Fi/Horror or 3rd Person Shooters will also enjoy.
Just remember to turn the lights off and put the volume up!
Also worth mentioning that Dead Space Extraction is also included which is also an excellent game in its own right and great fun co-op, meaning excellent value even at full price.
Ps. Would recommend playing on at least Normal if not higher difficulty.

Got this game a few days early...very pleased with it.
Anyone whos played the demo and enjoyed it will love this,
Lots more variety of puzzles to come, though the combat is rather simplistic, but looks great when you string combos together.
For any fans of BatMan or adventures, one of the best yet with great graphics, audio, atmosphere and gameplay.
Good Achievements as well.
Dead Space: Isaac Unitology Variant (SDCC Exclusive)
Gifts & Gadgets
If you're a fan of Dead Space and like to collect action figures then you shouldn't be disappointed with this.
It's a well designed figure with good likeness, although you can't stand it in too many different poses.
The lights aren't very bright, a little on the dim side but overall a quality figure that compares well with others like Gears etc.
Ps. A GREAT game going cheap for those who have yet to get it.
Prototype: 7 Inch Alex Mercer Action Figure

The model itself is good, with good likeness and detail.
However, it is 6" and not 7".
Doesn't sound like much, but when you stand it next to other 7" models like Gears, Terminator, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil etc it looks small and out of proportion.
Hellboy 2: The Golden Army: 7 Inch No Coat Version Hellboy Action Figure (Wave 2)
The Hellboy figure is one of the best 7" models around.
The detail, build quality etc are all top notch.
If you're a fan, a very nice, good sized figure.
Terminator: Terminator 2 Cult Classics T-800 Endoskeleton Action Figure (Series 1)
The T800 looks good when standing, and the detail is good, however, it feels somewhat 'cheap' due to it being very light.
It has a rather cheap feel to it when in your hands which is a shame, but looks fine when standing.
Compared to other 7" figures like Gears figures etc just lacks that bit of quality.

Having recently completed the game I have to admit that while I enjoyed it, it's just not as good as it should or could have been.
Firstly the controls will take a while to get used to and even after completing it they still don't feel right. Dead Space has shown how to make best use of controls in this genre.
The AI on co-op is very hit/miss, sometimes just not shooting at all when surrounded by zombies. Co-op with a human is good, but to me survical/horror should be played in 1-player. This is basically an actiion/adventure and not at all scary.
Overall a decent action/adventure game, partly living on its reputaion.
If you're after a quality survival/horror experience, then look no further than Dead Space, superior on most levels and currently half the price.
