     greatness, with 2 exceptions

All the songs* are great and its very catchy, the stand out songs are Just Tonight (loud and fun), Work (obvious radio friendly single), Pain (singalong shouty chorus) and 23 ( which is more than 7 minutes long and has a really long instrumental introduction but is just brilliant). It's not as good as JEW/Bleed American, but it is still very good, I have listened to it loads.

*realised I was forgetting Nothing Wrong, which I dislike because it's too loud and doesn't fit in the album, and Drugs or Me, because basically its a bit crap.

  2.  dont it feel like sunshine after all.....

WHAT THE DEMO DISK VERSIONS ARE LIKE....
If I don't mention songs it's because they don't add anything/vary that much from the final versions. They are all full length songs.

    2. Just Tonight -sounds backwards! The very start of the real version doesn't happen until the end, it's interesting to hear how they must have developed the song from this.

    3. Work- with annoying drumming, and different lyrics and chorus.

    4. Kill- the same only with rough singing, and less back up in the chorus.

    6. Pain- rough version with a different [crap] chorus.

    7. Drugs Or Me- techno version with lots of woos and ooohs, I don't hate it as much as the real version.

    10. Night Drive- Much longer, the lyrics aren't finished (just repeated), builds up to this excellent huge loud rock ending. Other than the lyrics its more of an alternative version than a demo.

  3.  my ultimate favourite band

Its more of the same (no bad thing), big choruses, lyrics you learn with 2 listens, lots of oh oh oh's and hu hu hu's

I have waited for ages for this to come out and am very pleased with it, only thing I don't really like is Firefight, just because I don't really like the lyrics.

Best songs in my opinion Dizzy (this album's 23 for me) and Carry You. Recommended, although it's not really any departure from anything they have done before.

  4.  Got Ma Nuts From A Hippy.....

I got this on impulse because I liked Baby Fratelli (although Chelsea Dagger used to really get on my nerves), I really love this album and I recommend it as its really fun listen to loud, and all the songs are catchy. Even the titles of the songs are good! I wish I had got it sooner.

  5.  well recorded

Polished live versions of the songs, some with different arrangements to the originals, an example being Big Me which is slowed down with added piano and woman singer.

Sometimes the crowd can get a bit irritating in the more well known songs (such as shouting 'come on!' during the slower Everlong).

Highlights are Walking After You, which doesn't sound live it just sounds like a more richer sounding take on the non-album version. Next Year is much better than the dull album version as well. My favourite is drummer Taylor's Cold Day In The Sun.

  6.  properly entertaining action film

Really fun film to watch. I have seen it loads now and never get bored. One great scene is when they try to warn the bus driver to keep above 50mph with a sign saying BOMB ON BUS. Just don't make the mistake of watching the sequel.

  7.  superb film and acting

This is in no way an enjoyable film to watch but it is just brilliant, definitely one of the best films I have ever seen.

  8.  worthwhile

    good points
+ This bit that goes woo hoo hoo woo hoo in Hands
+ Brendan Benson and Jack White sharing the singing as their voices work well together
+ Together is just lovely. At first a thought it was quite sweet but when you listen to the words you realise its sort of sad, and its about people who want different things.

    bad points
+ Doesn't hold up to many repeated listens
+ Call It A Day just bothers me

    shows a lot of potential

  9.  just buy it

Everyone at some point in their lives should own this album.

Although I have always hated the song Breed.

  10.  I love the fact I can only pronounce four of the song titles

I got this album after I had heard all 12:29 minutes of Cicatriz ESP, and listened to it how you are meant to, just let it play all the way through.

Its really very good... its weird... but in a good way. I know there is a plot to the album but I never seem to know what they are going on about. Roulette Dares, my favourite (other than Cicatriz ESP) has a 'chorus' that goes "exoskeletal junction at the railroad delayed", but it sort of makes sense when you listen to the rest of it. So I would recommend this although I have never really got into their later albums. I think their songs started to get a bit too long for me.
