  1.  Impossibly good

The fact this movie's theme is the utter devastation the Tsunami brought years ago, this move is a real tour de force about the human spirit ande endeavour. The initial disaster scene is simply horrific and puts you right into the terror of what people must have experienced. Having seen it in the cinema, it felt almost claustrophopic.. Strong character performances from Watts and McGregor, but the film is tolen by the kids who you root for throughout the film. Highly recommended

  2.  Not so much Les Mis as Les Happy!

As a 42 year old man, i was dragged to the cinema to watch this musical along with most other fellas of the same age and upwards. What surprised me was the way the movie dragged you in from the first scene kept you ther for the duration. Incredible set pieces, amazing cast and the emotion that Anne Hathaway wrung out of I Dreamed a Dream was simply amazing. Hugh Jackman played the role that was almost tailor made for him on the screen and even ended up looking like Bon Scott of ACDC towards the end. A true achievement!!! So good i watched it a second time in the cinema, this time with my 14 year daughter which proved it appealled to all audiences. A true movie spectacle

Bought this after reading the reviews and wasnt disappointed.Superb songs and proper 80's production. I totally agree that this should be in every music lovers collection!

  4.  A Fitting Tribute

This shows what a talent the world had lost when Amy Winehouse lost her battle with alcohol. The voice is still strong and she puts her trademark on some quality covers. Donny Hathaways Song for You is given the Amy treatment and is simply superb. One for all music fans

  5.  Dont read it in The Dark

As a lover of James Herberts books which are so well written with tremendous characters and story lines, this is horrror writing at its very best. For people who think that books cant scare you, i dare you to pick this book up and read it in a night light. The best of a tremendous line in books. This is a fantastic horror read. Highly, highly recommended

  6.  Top stuff

This is a great Tim Burton film that shows grief and death in a way that makes it better for kids to appreciate. The story is great and the animation is superb. On a par with Paranorman, but this is far more quirky and a really great story. Recommended

  7.  Not at all (Les) Miserable(s)!!!

Having bought the Anniversary Bluray of this amazing show, I wasnt expecting much from the film and soundtrack. How wrong I was, Anne Hathaway wrings every bit of emotion out of I Dreamed A Dream and Hugh Jackman is incredible as the hero and sings Bring Him Home like a seasoned Tenor. Simply outstanding and a film that everyone should see and a soundtrack that everyone should listen too.

  8.  Will always be one of the BIG 4

Along with Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax, Slayer are the other band in the world famous big 4 of metal. The 4 bands can be seen on DVD in concert together and this album plays more like a best of. Not for the faint hearted, but an alum that sometimes appears in the Top 100 album lists of music mags other than just metal, which shows the cross over of thrash metal. Listen to Angel of Death on a quality hifi and you'll be hooked and looking to check out other thrash/metal albums

  9.  John Woo Who?

    Posted:

The best action film of 2012 bar none and up there with the Die Hards for pure action and amazing set pieces. The fight scene in the corridor has to be seen to be believed. An almost dance like sequence that will go down in cinema history. And all this from a Welsh director called Gareth!!!! Cymru am byth!

  10.  a great companion to the live show

Top stuff, from Rock and Roll Train onwards, this is pure rock and roll gold, if youre a fan you wont be disappointed, but the DVD or Bluray is better
