  1.  Second book of Second TRILLOGY is amazing

    Posted:

Since picking up her last trillogy (Black Magicians Trillogy) i have been under the impression Trudi Canavan was a good story teller with the ability to map out a good thread and build up a beleiveable and interesting world with characters you can follow and care about. I WAS WRONG She is a great author able to twist and manipulate you with grace and ease as he guides you to THIS last installment of the (Age of Five Trillogy) Far surpassing anything i was expecting and gripping me from start to finish and this the last was no exception. A thrilling good read and a must have for any fantasy lover out there 10/10 I already have recommended it to all my friends.

  2.  Another Amazing Book

  3.  Good second in the trillogy

If you were able to read the first in the series. I d recommend that get this. you have to give her credit for The Magicians Guild it was her first book and an amazing one at that. Even though the first had its flaws. most of them have been flattened out and the story perfected by this book. Sonea has now joined the guild and accepted that magic is now part of her life. Knowing that she is an ex- slum girl she know this wont be the end of her troubles, as she has to prove to everyone that she s worth to be classed a novice. Whilst keeping her promises and secrets, But what she doesn t know is how those secrets are not only going through life in to chaos but also shack the guilds beliefs aswell. Basically if you like Tolkin, Paolini then id advice you to get your teeth in to this trilogy. but please read the Magicians guild the first book too lol

  4.  An amazing FINISH

This is the last book in the Black Magicians Trilogy and it kept me coming back making you rethink everything you though you knew. i really could not put it down. the twists and cliff hangers kept me gripped from beginning to end! Everything was neatly if not some what predicable ended on a good note. An amazingly well wrote strong female lead from beginning to end. A MUST READ trilogy and Author. As before the author has started us off with platform of beliefs and expectations and once again there is still so much unknown and all of it revolves around the relationship and discovered secrets of the high lord and his apprentice. We find out Arkkrins Story and why he's has done what he did and shown the consequences but the battle that is coming magician against magician I can guarantee isn't what you ll be expecting. What will the guild what will sonea have to do to save all that is dear to them. I loved this book so much so i went straight on to reading the authors next trilogy "The Age of The Five!!" a lot longer but still worth every word read

  5.  The hook

Like most people i was skeptical of this book due to all the hype believing it couldn't live up to it all. I was wrong this book is well written and amazingly planned everything in it has importance even if you don't know what it is or means. the characters are cleverly written and amazingly described and all having complete and individual back storys that come out with time. Basically this book revolves around a boy in one world (muggle) hes no one but placed in the world of magic hes the most famous boy who ever lived. he struggles with the adjustment to this new found power of magic as he attends school find new friend. and not so wisely making old enemy's even more angry. over all its a great book with nice twist and character changes and the creation of a world within our own! well worth a read for one thing its got me back into reading and now im addicted to the Harry Potter books. Good reading enjoy

  8.  A Great no mistaske

This with out exception is a great film and one i dont belive ill ever get sick of. its a great story and even better now its got the revamp. clear and concise to the true meaning, though the sequals do draw it out after all "There can be only ONE" speaks for its self. you even can for give Lamberts for his sucky accent that seems to slip for time to time. One to get in my opinion!

  9.  Wish id have read this as a kid

This is technically the first installment to the lord of the rings Trilogy though i confess to have started the trilogy first. It was writen as a children's book whilst Tolkien was at Oxford as a lecture. In my opinion it works just as well as an introduction to the adult literature that he is famous for producing. This story revolves around Bilbo Baggins a quite and reseved hobit who likes staying out of trouble and enjoying the quite life. It starts when a stranger comes to call and you marvel at the unexpected adventures he partates in whislt crossing middle earth. Acompaned by Gandalf a strange and willful wizard and a group of drawfs and there king. In this story everybody is suprised at how Bilbo fare and all learn to trust him for good or ill. As a major part of this book is where he meets a creature called Gollum and finds a misterious ring.
i think its an amazing and exciting book helping you further step in to the world of middle earth. This book is a must read before the trilogy. i believe it helps you understand further, characters and situations you will incounter in his later works. i also believe it sets up the characters of both Gandalf and Smeagul perfectly and made me want to reread all of lord of the rings. if your 8 or 80 and you life fantasy this is a must read! Cant believe i nearly didnt read this cos its a kids book.

this is a complete classic in the comedy arena. A have to have for any lovers of Dick and fart joke humour thats the calling card of KEVIN SMITH. though its his first movie and cos of that is black and white you d think it would impact the raw effect of this movie but it doesn t its great and i would recomend it to anyone!! 10/10
