  1.  Surprisingly Enjoyable

I had not seen this film before, but was recommended to watch it. The whole thing was quite surprising. DiCaprio is good, but he is in good company with Malkovich, Irons, Depardieu, and Byrne. The plot was an interesting twist on the musketeers, entertaining, swashbuckling, thoroughly enjoyable.

  2.  7 yr old loves them!

My 7 year old son seems to move from fad to fad very quickly at the moment, but it seems that we can always find a top trumps game to suit. GoGo's are the most recent, and again top trumps are available. Good cards, easy to read for him, but a fun quick game to play to keep him occupied for 10 minutes here and there. Nice clear pictures, very excited about the characters in the pack, so seems to be a hit!

  3.  Good little time filler!

Bought this top trumps pack for my 5 year old having recently watched the 3rd Ice Age film and he loves the game. Needed a little help on reading the categories to start with but now he is well away. Quite good for teaching younger kids to read numbers and think about which category to choose etc, but more-so, a good game to grab if you have 10 minutes spare. Simple game, with nice pictures of the characters.

  4.  Good Bins!

Bought these as a replacement to my in-ear ipod phones that never fitted quite right and became uncomfortable after a short time. The phones are great. Comfortable fit, sound quality is awesome, only low volume needed even in the office - they don't cut out all background noise, but then I didn't want or expect them to. They do get a little warm after an hour or so, but that is to be expected from external headphones. Overall, for 18 pounds you really cannot go wrong with these!

  5.  Cheap alternative to going down Blu-ray route

I bought this to go with my new Samsung LCD TV, not wanting to shell out for Blu-ray, especially since I have a vast amount of DVDs already. Out of the box and set up within minutes, (you will need to get an HDMI cable though as there isn't one in the box), my DVDs now have a clear, crisp picture and look great upscaled to 1080 on my new TV.

This is a brilliant cheap alternative to Blu-ray. Highly recommended!

  6.  Awesome Telly

I spent a fair while trying to figure out which TV to go for to replace my old 32" CRT. I didn't want to spend a fortune, but also wanted something half decent. After a fair bit of research, I went for the Samsung Series 5 37" LE37B550, and I was not disappointed.

Delivered the day after ordering, out of the box and working within minutes. Connected up aerial for Freeview, Xbox360, Wii and upscaling DVD player and the picture on all of them is brilliant. Particularly pleased with the optical out for sound - only one cable to my amp, and managed to ditch my scart switch and my freeview box in the process, simplifying my setup.

The picture really is very good, can't comment on sound as I use my surround sound system, but for just over 500 notes you really can't go wrong. Highly recommended!

  7.  Excellent Book......

....however if you have experience of HTML and CSS there is probably very little you will get out of it.

I was hoping that this book would fill some holes in my knowledge, which to a degree it did, but in truth I only picked up maybe ten or so new pieces of knowledge.

That said, this book is really very very good, and much like the other Head First books walks you through slowly, developing the example pages and styling. Would recommend to a near beginner on the subject.

  8.  Learning made easy...

Having read the Head First Java book, I moved on to Head First JSP and Servlet. This book is a good follow on to the Java one for anybody wanting an introduction to JSPs and Servlets, or if like me you have a little knowledge of them and need to pad it out.

Much like the Java one, this book walks through some easy to follow exercises which add weight to the learning. Excellent overview of the technologies, and also includes all the knowledge needed to apparently sit the Sun JSP and Servlet exam.

    Definitely recommend this one!

  9.  My first Head First book, and not the last....

I took a gamble on this book as I wanted something different than a heavy going reference book. The way these books work is very refreshing, using simple examples that you develop with the book as you go. It includes exercises and puzzles to provoke your mind into remembering the nitty gritty of the syntax. Very good book, have now been back to buy several others! Recommended as an excellent introduction to Java, but not for the intermediate Java developer looking for a reference book.

  10.  Great little mouse

Bought this to replace an older notebook mouse and haven't been dissappointed. Battery lifetime is superb, had it ages and only changed them once as far as I can remember. Only slight bug-bear is that the USB dongle is a little large - reckon it could have been smaller , but all in all the mouse is brilliant! Highly recommended
