  1.  BROTHERLY LOVE

    Posted:

I've watched this film several times and it gets better after every watch. Granted, the humour is schoolboy stuff and crude for the most of it but it is Ferrell at his best, ably supported by John C Reilly. If you are a Ferrell fan then this film is for you.

  2.  BLISTERING BARNACLES

Wow, this brings me back to my childhood. I absolutely loved Herge's books and the subsequent original cartoons. Technology has made the animations more lifelike and the result is a great family adventure for original fans and for those who are new to Tintin. I for one can wholly recommend this and will be purchasing it myself.

  3.  GOOD THRILLER

This would have got 5 stars but for the ending which seemed to run out of steam. Clever serial killer thriller in the 'Seven' mould with a good cast and worth a watch.

  4.  BROMANCE IS NOT DEAD

Quality comedy. Good double act with Rudd and Segel and lots of great cameos, partcularly the guy with the high voice. Not just funny but a great feelgood movie.

  5.  BY CHRIST! WHAT WAS THAT ALL ABOUT!

Probably just watched this due to a certain level of notoriety and had to say it was pretty weird. Some parts are just plain disturbing - particularly the self mutilation scene (certainly had me cringing). I'm sure there will be arthouse lovers out there who understand it better than myself but just can't see it somehow. Summing up - DISAPPOINTED.

  6.  FOR SCI-FI/HORROR LOVERS

Watched this last night and was pleasantly surprised although it seems to have borrowed from Alien and The Descent, in particular (although, its far better than the latter). A decent watch if I say so and worth shelling out to add to one's collection.

  7.  WOW!!!!!!!

Having owned a PS3 for only 4 months, I was lucky to receive it with this beauty. This game is awesome and has probably spoiled me for other titles as the graphics, gameplay etc are fantastic. This is an absolute must own so don't hesitate..part with your cash. P.S. Is it just me or does one of the main characters bear a resemblance to sultry actress Rhona Mitra?

  8.  GOOD THRILLER

One of Mr. Clooney's better efforts, alongside the likes of Syriana. Defo like George in these kind of movies. A very engaging thriller which I'd Sky +'d ages ago. Glad I got round to watch it as it made very good viewing with great performances from Tom Wilkinson and Tilda Swinton in particular. More of the same please George.

  9.  HORROR MAESTRO RETURNS!

    Posted:

Sam Raimi returns to his horror roots with this cracker. Like Evil Dead, this film is sprinkled with liberal doses of black humour which only adds to the film. There are plenty of genuine scares and some gross-out moments to keep horror fans happy as well. I did see the ending coming a bit before it actually arrived but a good twist nevertheless. A good buy for your Blu-Ray.

  10.  BEST TO DATE

I'm a big fan of the kings but this has to be their most complete album to date. I still love their earlier work but this is great listening, not a bad song on the album. If we're being honest, such album's are a rarity so i would rate it as a must have.
