  1.  Utterly Addictive online

This for me, is one of the best games I've played to date for the 360. I really enjoyed the single player campaign, the graphics, sound effects and controls are fantastic throughout. I've played through the single player a few times now trying it on more difficult levels as I go and finding it just as satisfying as the first time.
For me, without a doubt, the online multi-player is just fantastic - there's so much to do - loads of different types of games from free for all to multi player death match etc and this is utterly addictive.
It is difficult at first, quite simply because there's a lot of players on there with lots of experience but once you get the hang of it, its's a brilliant online experience.
I'd recommend this title to anyone that loves first person shooters.

  2.  Exvellent Addition to the francise

As has already been mentioned by other reviewers, this installment focuses more on the story line rather than out and out gore (saw 3). It does have its squeemish moments as we've come to expect from the saw films but it dates right back to the original saw movie, showing how particular traps that you may have forgotten about came to be.
My only disappointment for the film was its ending. Not because of what happened, but because I saw it coming an hour before the end, so the unexpected "twist" didn't materialise which left a slight feeling of disappointment. Saying that though, this is a worthy addition to the saw franchise and I personally thought it was better than number 4.
I've already ordered my copy and will be first in line to see number 6.

  3.  sensational

This is quite possibly the best game I have played on the 360 to date. There's only bee na couple of games where once I started playing, I just couldn't stop, and this is one of them.
The graphics are simply fantastic and the gameplay is truly unique, far more imaginative than the likes of Halo 3 and far better also.
Overall, this is a truly fantastic game, well polished with loads of nice touches throughout (especially when you start turning into a big daddy). I only got this game 6 months ago as it didn't appeal to me, now I'll be buying bioshock 2 the day it's released.

  4.  Average Racer

This certainly isn't the worst game I've played, far from it, but it's also not the best, not by a long shot.
As mentioned in one of the previous reviews, I find the menus extrmemely difficult to read and understand. It's done in a "cool" or "street" way with spray painting, which just looks a mess, I can't figure out what's going on.
The games also pretty repetitive, the mc's are pretty funny for about 10 minutes but after that it's just the same thing over and over again which just gets annoying.
The handling is another sticky point, I find I have to use the handbrake for pretty much for every corner as the cars just don't seem to want to turn.
The graphics however are excellent, really smooth and look the business.
Overall, it's ok, some of the cars are nicely done and there's loads of choices for them, personally I think it's the weakest NFS game on the 360. If you've got most wanted or carbon, this probably won't impress much.

  5.  3 stars sounds about right

As mentioned with many of the reviews below, this film has good points and bad points. What I will say in a quick summary is that it is a million times better than the first AvP but that doesn't say a great deal.
It does have some good scenes and its nice to actually see some blood and guts which finally acknowlegdges that the audience that's likely to watch this film may actually know a little about Alien and Predator films, so we're expecting and wanting an adult theme.
As already mentioned, it's certainly a Predator film with Aliens thrown in as well. I quite like the story, it's nice to see a town get taken over rather than it being set in a deserted area where no one will ever know about the two species existance no matter how much carnage they create.
There are some nice touches as well, especially with the sound. The Aliens make their trademark scream when they die that was first heard in Aliens and the music score is a nice combination of pounding predator music and atmospheric alien music which reminds me alot of the music used in Alien Resurrection.
It is a dark film, I was watching it again last night and there are parts where you do really struggle to see what's going on which didn't add to the experience for me, I found it frustrating.
It is a real sit down and be entertained for 90 mins without having to engage your brain, you know what's going to happen from start to finish.
So, overall it's alot better than the first, but it could be so much more.

  6.  Genuinely funny

As mentioned by other reviewers, this is a genuinely funny film with many moments that you'll laugh out loud at. It came out when there was a spate of "teen" movies so it could easily have become just "another teen movie" (no pun) but fortunately it wasnt - good one-liners, great cast and at £4.99 its a bargain.

  7.  Ok, not superb...but ok

I think the title somes it up perfectly - like some have mentioned I actually enjoyed the story line, I thought it was good to see the story unfold from both the killers and victims eyes so you can see how the "organisation" works.
The film wasn't as gory as I was hoping, there's only about 3 death scenes in the whole film although the last one in particular is pretty awful to see, well, for men anyway.
I thought it was nice to see a different story angle to the first film but it did leave me feeling that I somehow wanted more, it just didn't really deliver the "wow" factor and will more than likely spend its life sat at the bottom of the dvd collection collecting dust.

Overall, it's a decent enough film and the effects are good, I just didn't think there was enough gore as that's what the film it hyped up about.

  8.  Good Gameplay

First of all, I'm not a great "sports" fan on consoles so I have very little to compare this title to apart from fifa 07 which I also have. Out of the two, PES is far better, no it doesn't have all the official teams and that jazz but it really doesn't matter to me - the gameplay however does, and that's where PES comes into it's own.
I've never played a PES title before but just picked up the controller and off I went - the controls are tight, nice and responsive and help make the game really enjoyable. The graphics, sound effects and commentary are good as well. Out of many 360 titles, this game is one of the best "value for money" games as you can just pick it up over and over again.

  9.  Average Shooter

First of all I'd like to say that the game has good points and bad points. The good points for me are the controls, they're tight and really easy to pick up. Also the graphics and lighting effects are excellent, they've really tried to make the game atmospheric and abit dark which was one of the reasons why I bought it.
The game was abit of a let down - a friend of mine completed it and gave it rave reviews so I was keen to get my hands on it. The game must have all of 5 different enemies, you just shoot the same guys over and over again so I really did start to get bored quite quick - this can also be said for the environments, it's one thing to try and make them abit dark and spooky but when the levels are virtually all the same, again, it gets boring very quick. It also isn't scary at all, I was hoping for something abit like DOOM 3 which could be really unsettling at times, but this wasn't at all. It's also just your bog standard FPS that does a "slow mo" effect and that's about it. I guess my main complaint is that it tries to be something it's not.

So, if you're looking for just a standard FPS with abit of blood thrown in, then this could be for you, if however, you're looking for something different with a good story then this will disappoint you.

  10.  Average at Best

Looking at other reviews given it looks like I'm in the minority here but I didn't really enjoy Carbon and for me it was a real let down. I loved NFSMW and spent in excess of 60 hours playing it so it was superb value for money and Carbon had alot to live upto. First of all, I much prefer playing MW in the light rather than Carbon where the game is always played in the dark, but that's just me. I liked the "canyon" runs, I thought it was good to see something abit different and it worked.
My main complaint is that the game is just too short and easy, it only took around 9-10 hours to complete which compared to Most Wanted was a major let down and there's only 3 main bosses to beat and then that's it (on single player campaign). I didn't like the "autosculpt" feature, but that again could just be me.
Basically I much, much prefered Most Wanted and really can't understand why Carbon has such fantastic reviews, I honestly think it's an average racer which may have been good 2 years ago but now that there's so many good titles out there, this just doesn't make the standard. I had high hopes but the game did't deliver.
