Max Payne 3

Your mission: Kill everybody.Characterless candy floss, has nothing in common with the original Max Paynes except the name and bullet time. It's difficult only because hordes of enemies jump at you, so the fastest trigger finger wins.30GB install, yet graphics are very much off the mill. Most overhyped game this year.
Thief: The Complete Collection

Surely Thief 1 must be my favourite games of all times.Graphics were always so so, but it's all so stylish, and the sound is the real star (ambient and voices). And is there a scarier game around? Zombies? The ghosts in the cathedral! I still shudder! And now playing flawlessly on my Win 7 x64 system, for a fiver. Thank you!
StarCraft 2: Wings Of Liberty (PC & Mac)

I am only interested in the single player campaign.Graphics are really dated looking, effects are lame, buildings still have square footprint and can only be placed in one direction. Music during missions so bad and inappropriate it got switched off immediately. Story doesn't get well explained, cut scenes bore me, characters leave me unemotional towards them. Two stars only because for some reason I yet felt compelled to complete the campaign. That must mean something.

Don't know what techincal difficulties the others had, it was running without problems on my machine, with fast loading times and smooth frame rates. It's a very dark game, with stories on many levels. It made me jump in my armchair many times.
