  1.  What's all the fuss about?

    Posted:

I can tell by the reviews for this game that people won't like what I've got to say, but it's my opinion. I really don't get it. Why is this such a good game?

I was eyeing up this game for months, mostly because of the reviews it was getting, and the first Assassin's Creed was apparantly awful. So I bought the second one and the story mode started off pretty well, but then once you get into the missions it's so boring. I think watching paint dry is more exciting.

This game is repetitive; all the missions are similiar and it's a total waste of your time. The running up the wall is so lame it's comical. All you do is just jump onto boxes and clib poles and building to get around. It's very lame and it also takes time to get used to.

The user manual was not user frienly either, you just have to learn and pick things up for yourself. You steal money from certain boxes during the game to, it's so pathetic. I really don't understand what the writiers were up to on this game. Everyone I've spoken to love the game but agree that the story is pretty low quality and lacking a lot. They say it;s hard to follow, and they took the words right out of my mouth.

Don't get me started on the online play. It doesn't even work!!!

A friend of mine recently purchased the brotherhood game and it's exactly the same. I say save your pennies and buy something decent. This game is not even worth the 10 pound it's at right now. It;s totally overrated and I'm only giving it 3 stars because the graphics are pretty good.

P.S. Why do reviewers click 'no' for the 'is this feedback helpful'? LOL it's just my opinion, just because I don't like a product doesn't mean it's not helpful. Do we REALLY have to say positive things about every product? Is that helpful? Get a life people.

  2.  Wow...Simply Amazing

    Posted:

I'm so glad I searched up "Best Boxing Movies" on Google the other week! This film was on various top 10 lists and I'm a fan of Denzel Washington anyway so I picked up a copy. I was so surprised that I had never heard of it, nor heard the real life story behind it either. But I bought it, sat down and watched it, and was blown away.

This is a masterpiece and has pushed it's way past majority of my favourite films and has got to be in my top 5. I would actually class this film as better than Shawshank Redemption, and I'm a BIG fan of that film. It has a similiar feel to it but this has so much emotion and power behind the story, and the best thing is that it's a true story.

Denzel is amazing, and you don't need me to tell you that because you see he won Best Actor for this role. There were a few others that had a decent showing too, but Denzel shines here. The story is beautiful, touching, and one that has really got to me. Since watching this film I have researched the story and even picked out a few books on it that I will purchase once I get paid.

This film is GOLD and if you haven't seen it I guarantee you that you will love it, whatever type of movie you enjoy. This simply does the trick and kept me entertained throughout.

  3.  Foreign Films Are The Way To Go

I'm loving getting into all these foriegn films at the moment. This one got some good ratings and I went ahead and bought and I'm glad I've seen it. Some great performances from the main characters and there's some fine, fine camera work shown off.

Some scenes dragged on a bit too long, that's probably why I've given it 4 stars. It wasn't fantastic but still had an effect on me and the story itself was just beautifully portrayed.

You should certainly see this movie then move on to so other decent foreign movies floating about.

  4.  Quality All Round

One of the best album I've listened to in years. This has all sorts of genres and whatever mood you're in you should enjoy prett ymuch every song. I don't skip a single song when I have it on, I just stick it on random and let it play, sometimes not even realising that I've gone through the entire album twice until 2 hours have passed.

From the jungle feel to the opening track 'No Problem' all the way to the energetic 'End Credits,' you're taken through a random selection of music that ranges from RnB, Hip Hop, Dance, Trance, Drum n Bass, Garage, Jungle, Pop, Grime, Rap, Dub Step and more. It really is jam packed with all sorts and it's what makes this album one of the best in years.

It features some talented artists like Plan B, Dizzee Rascal, Tinie Tempah and Clare Maguire, as well as some unknown artists that actually put in better performances than the ones named.

Overall this is defo a great purchase and one for your collection, whatever taste in music you have.

  5.  Excellant

If you like a decent laugh you definitely need to watch this boxset. It's creative and this guy can do so many random voices and all of them are pretty unique.

I had heard of fonejacker but never seen it, and after watching facejacker (and loved it) I decided to get this boxset. Fonejacker is probably even better than facejacker. With facejacker he is obviously getting more personal and pretty much annoys people in their face and they don't know how to take him. Brian Badonde is officially a legend for that.

But yeah, fonejacker has a proper unique feel to it and you would think you'd get bored of a program on all these phonecalls but it's the opposite. I just can't get enough of it.

Hopefully we get a fonejacker series 3 or a facejacker 2 because this guy really is a talented guy and has so many legendary characcters.

Add this to your basket today and you won't regret it.

  6.  Entertaining

This is certainly entertaining and unique too. I love the idea of everything coming alive at night in the musuem and the idea of the story being behind a security guy is excellant.

The characters are chosen well, and some of the scenes are hillarious. There's a few odd moments, but overall it's got to be one of the best films to come out in the last 10 years, at least.

Ben Stiller is excellant as always, and he was the perfect choice for the film. If you haven't seen this film yet, where have you been!

  7.  Excellant - Javier Bardem is on fire!

    Posted:

Javier Bardem is certainly the stand out star in this epic movie. I love films like this, and I was not let down with what was already, potentially a decent film.

After several months I finally got around to watching this and it really is a top notch film. It's slow in place, but not a boring pace. There's always something to think about and the mood of the film is just spot on.

Josh Brolin is great and of course you have Tommy Lee Jones who always catched the eye, but it's certainly Javier Bardem who is top of the pile.

The story is great, and certain scenes are just put together really, really well. I loved the beginning; for some reason I actually knew it was going to be a great film from the start.

    Buy this film!

  8.  Masterpiece

    Posted:

This has got to be up there with my favourites films of all time. I only watched this recently but it's excellant.

The emorion involved is deep, touching, and just plain brilliant. It starts off well showing the bond of the brothers,a nd over the course of the 2 and a half hours we get to see their topsy turvy relationship, yet there's still love there.

Both forced into war yet their motivation soon switches and they get right into the battles. It's all put together rather well, and you have the story of the family of the brothers in the background too, and you get to see how they're coping.

It's just an excellant movie that needs to be watched. It's got subtitles, so what. Some of the best movies out there are with subtitles.

  9.  Quality in places

    Posted:

I really enjoyed watching this film, but it did have both a lot of positives and negatives. Is it worth a watch? Totally.

I watched the colour version although the black and white version is on my dvd set too. I liked the characters, I thought they were shown really well and you get to know them well. There's a unique story involved and this is what impressed me most. Nicely put together and very suspensful at times.

Majority of the film is set in a store yet the filmaking is done well and it works well. The picture was really good, with some quality scenes at times.

The ending was a bit 'meh' but I suppose it worked. There were a lot of negatives too but I'm trying to stick to the postives here because I think it's worth the viewing.

    Check it out.

  10.  Impressive & Unique

    Posted:

I loved this when I see the first time and I watched it recently and it was even better! Packed with stars such as Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Josh Hartnett, Ben Kingsley and Lucy Liu, there is a unqiue story and one with a few twists along the way, especially the ending!

Josh is brilliant in the main character role, and his relationship with Lucy Liu is fun to watch. Her cheeky personality rubs off well with him and vice versa. Bruce is solid as always, as is Morgan. Ben Kingsley impressed me. I know about him but don't know to much. He's funny but probably doesn't even know it. He's got that presense and you take notice.

Good plot and great scenes, and the twists are really good. Overall it's brilliant in my eyes!
