  1.  Underrated

    Posted:

Caught this gem on Sky Movies a few days ago, thinking it would be a good way to burn a bit of time. Wasn't expecting such an amazing film, thats for sure. Fantastic stunts, a great storyline, a must have for any action fan.

  2.  The dark horse of Wahlberg's career

    Posted:

Mark Wahlberg shines in this thriller - he plays a bad guy AND a good guy so convincingly. The swap between the two personas in incredible. Witherspoon is equally as impressive, although not yet at the peak of her career. A fantastic storyline, heart-racing moments and brilliant acting all round. This is one dark horse of a film.

  3.  Seen it all before

This storyline has been repeated so many times, Big, 13 Going On 30, its getting old. Zac Efron shines as the younger version of Mike, but is let down by a poor script and uninteresting dialogue. Kids will probably lap it up, if only for the star, but for the rest of us out there, its probably not worth it. To give it some due, there are some funny moments, but these are rare. Give it a go anyway and see what you think.

  4.  Easy to use!

This was my very first sat nav, and I'm so pleased! Its extremely easy to use, clear daytime maps, night vision maps, clear sound, you can choose between a male and female voice, the screen is just the right size... I could go on forever. There is also a great HELP option incase you ever breakdown, with first aid tips and everything. Its easy to navigate local facilities, everything from places to eat to tourist attractions. I also love the fact that when you are approaching a roundabout, it gives you plenty of time to change lanes if you need to, by telling you early. Its the ultimate sat nav out there at the moment!

  5.  Fabulous!

I bought this solely because I loved 'Breathe Slow' and 'The Boy Does Nothing' so was pleasantly surprised when I found every song excellent. There's a song for every mood of the day, great lyrics and amazing vocal performances. Alesha proves she is more than just a great dancer in this fab album.

  6.  The weakest of the Monroe biographies

    Posted:

I love marilyn monroe. I will read anything about her, so was excited when this biography arrived. The title is intreiging, i was looking forward to reading chapters based up the different aspects of her personality. What i got was a book basically dedicated to critisising other biographies with the odd sarcastic comment thrown in for good measure. The author doesn't seem to have any real interest in monroe, just the so-called weaknesses of other monroe biographers. I highly recommened buying 'goddess' by anthony summers or 'marilyn monroe' by barbara leaming if you want a real biography.

  7.  Disappointing

    Posted:

I was looking forward to watching the remake of a famous Japanese horror, but was thoroughly disappointed by the end. Unlike other Japanese remakes, such as the Ring and Grudge, this is pointless and you never have any empathy for the characters who are supposedly being hunted by the ghost. Every horror cliche is here, complimented by terrible acting and an unbelievable storyline. Give this one a miss.

  8.  The weakest of the Monroe biographies

  9.  One of the golden biographies

    Posted:

A thoroughly researched biography into, arguably, the most famous woman of the 20th century. Probing and insightful, the author goes into detail about Monroe's early life, her journey from stardom and the downsides of fame and marriage. An excellent read.

  10.  Fascinating

Not your average Monroe conspiracy theory book; this explores the facts surrounding Monroe's last few weeks and days. Chapters specifically on her involvement with the mafia, the Kennedy's and the studios make for a fascinating read about her life. The tapes recorded for her doctor that were made just a couple of weeks before her death provide an insight into her intimate thoughts and feelings. Victim tells it how it is. If you are a fan, this is one book you must not go without.
