Now my Kinect doesn't have to sit there gathering dust.It actually reduces the gameplay area and my youngest (5) is now able to play without having to move backwards and forwards all the time just to be recognised.
I originally had my Kinect mounted at it's highest point and that's where it still stays. The Nyko manual recommends the item is fitted with the sensor between 4-5 feet for optimal performance and with my sensor bar at it's top range above the TV at the maximum recommended height I still had to play around with tuning so it might be even better at a level just below the screen.
A must buy if you are fed up of having to re-arrange your room each time you want to play Kinect or like me found it was a very expensive and under used accessory to the XBOX.
A must buy!!
PES 2011: Pro Evolution Soccer

The last couple of years the PES releases have felt a little shallow with a bitter taste, no more than front end updates. However, this release sees a complete overhaul and what a game it is!The new passing system is a dream and through balls are an absolute joy!The graphics are far more details and there appears to be a lot more life to each player on the pitch when compared to the new FIFA release. The ability to hustle and barge an apponent off the ball are a long missed inclusion to the game.Online play is great overall despite the odd jerkiness even when playing with freinds and all on a good connection but here is hoping Konami run some updates within the next few weeks.I tried FIFA prior to this and although it's not a bad game it felt empty compared to thhis new version and the FIFA online play was terrible.Buy PES you will not be dissapointed. Konami - A move in the right direction.
Sony BDP-S550 Blu-ray Disc Player
This player is my first Blu-Ray player so I have nothing else to compare this against. I did some research before buying and was steered away from other players with comments like 'Slow load times' and had to be careful of the right elements required. All I can say is wow. Firstly SD discs are upscaled even better than my Sony DAV DZ260 and the quality is great. The Blu-Ray side of things does not fail to impress on my 46" LCD. The load times do not seem to be an issue and there is a LAN jack on the back for additional features and updating the firmware is made very easy.I have the audio channeled via an optical cable to my DAV system and the quality is suberp. This unit is stylish and looks well built and another advantage is the size as the depth of the player is nearly half that of the size of my DAV system and slightly smaller than a SKY+ decoder.A must buy if you want to do justice to your Hi-Def screens.
Sony DAV-DZ260 5.1 Channel DVD Home Cinema System
I upgraded to this unit to replace my old Sony SAV unit of 6 years old and have not been at all dissapointed in the performance. The only main reason for upgrade was to have the upscale functionality and previous to this purchase I had gone for the Panasonic range but returned as there is a constant low level hiss from the speakers when no sound is coming from the system. After checking alocal retailer for all models in the Panasonic range I realised this is by design. The Sony however is quiet unless you are obviously playing something (as I would have expected).
Picture qaulity with the upscaling is fantastic on the 32" 1080i setting and the sound is awesome. This unit also comes with a mic to use to auto calibrate the speakers which works really well.
A must buy item and it makes me realise that I should have not strayed away from Sony in the first place.
