  1.  Great Film... Terrible Blu-ray awful.

    5 stars for the film. awesome.. read someone else's review of the film, this review is for the blu-ray... which I have to say.. is terrible in places. very grainy.. and no I am not talking about the bits through the camera, and psychedelic bits.. certain parts of the film are just plain grainy on normal scenes.. I one point my other half asked me if I bought a copy. Which I clearly did not.. watched 2D and 3D versions.. anyway the film is awesome. shame about the quality.. lots of complaints on forums about blu ray version.. apparently dvd version is better.

  2.  Not as funny as his other dvd's

    I like Michael McIntyre, I have his other dvds Hello Wembley and Live and Laughing is just pant wetting.. and i could watch them over and over again, but this dvd is nowhere near as funny as the other 2.I have to say I probably would not watch this again really... judging by the amount of copies I saw in CEX around over 40 I guess other people did not find it as funny as the others as well.. Most of his gags you could relate to on the other dvds, but this dvd just did not do it for us, we still laughed, my girlfriend cryed with laught on his other 2 dvd's and still does when she watches them. The hospital gag bit at the end of this dvd I actually ended up cringing rather than laughing... At the end of the day it is still funny just don't expect to laugh as much as the others!!

  3.  Good action... Crazy film... Good 3d too!

    Great action and Nick Cage back to his best... also funny in places William Fichtner is hilarious in his opening scene.. I was surprised 3d is really good too, scenes filmed specifically for 3d with axes, coins, explosions, glass, severed hands... flying at you.. A crazy shootout with Nick Cage having a shoot out while errm, how can I put this politely, shoot out while in bed with a woman if you catch my drift.. Its a fun action film.. But its a 18 mind.. Cool.. Yup he's angry..

  4.  Gore, Nudity, Note 3d is with the Cardboard glasses

    Above average film, Good gore, although it will make you chuckle more than repulse you, plenty of nudity aka Kelly Brook, the 3d in this film is the cardboard glasses kind though, the old red/blue glasses.. Not to be confused with the better quality active/passive you get now!!.. and a sequel on the way called Piranha 3DD... Yes basically proper 3d this time and loads more boobs.... and it stars the Hoff too!..

  5.  Average drive - It will work on MAC -But Reformat it first!

    I Got a 1TB one for a Mac. Initially could not get to work would not let me put anything on said Read Only. But you have to go to your system Utilities, (The application that lets you verify/Repair disk partitions) Then click on the image of your new hardrive and click format!!... Personally I would get Western Digital hardrive for a Mac. You would still reformat as above. I just think there better. If your still stuck getting this to work on a Mac check youtube and type reformat hardrive for mac.

    Look at the cover of the dvd.. One Viking with loads of vikings behind him!.. You won't get that in this movie its a bit deceiving really, The back of the dvd cover looks a bit 300 too, again deceiving. The dvd box art is selling this film to action fans, this film is more for arthouse fans. No helmets or shields.. infact you wouldn't even know they were vikings really. No long battle scenes, No Mass battles. What gore is in the film is good but its very quick and doesn't linger. Our one eyed protagonist is mute so don't expect dialogue from him. Although we do get to hear his words sort of! through a boy viking who speaks for him that follows him. Its a dark mean and moody film and depressing film about one eyes self discovery. If you love swashbuckling action sword fighting this film is not for you. If you want to know what a Viking nightmare is like watch this...

  7.  Interesting film, Great Characters.

    This film surprised me, great characters.. You really feel for Stephen Dorffs character having to fit in and adjust to prison life..just to stay alive, When all he wants is to serve his time, so he can see his family. Val KIlmer also gives a great moving performance. A great film that deserves more recognition!

    If you want a action pic nothing else, then you have come to the right place.. didn't know much about this film I enjoyed this good action/gore.. its like Mad Max set in the UK a bit.. if you want plot.. look elsewhere but who cares.. mindless fun..quite a good budget too!.

  9.  Ok..but this film is cut to ribbons..

    I can understand why some play reviews are criticle of this film, but its not entirely the film makers fault, blame the censors.. because basically every kill scene is cut to ribbons.. is does not which version you buy Region 1 or Region 2 there all cut.. badly.... check out You..be wotsite to see it uncut..

  10.  Average could have been good..

    I never really moan about sci fi films to much as I love the genre and sci fi films are few and far between anyway, but this is more a show case of effects and use of locations (but they don't stay long enough in those locations to appreciate them. with a plot that could have been written on the back of a postage stamp!, kid finds he can jump/teleport anywhere in the world, and other people trying to kill the jumpers, thats it! (Teleport/Fight/Teleport), and the main character does not really use his power to help anyone, if you like your sci fi types of films simple then this is for you, but you will come away from this feeling that it could have been so much better!, Still its watchable, and if theres a sequel its got to be better..
