I'm gonna say this straight away because it's important that you take this in. If you are looking for a really serious (Saving Private Ryan) war film then I suggest you look elsewhere.
Inglorious has that Tarrantino smile all over it. A bit of comedy, action, violence, and intelligent scenes. Truly one of the best films if not the best film of 2009. It's over the top accents and comedic values produce quite a few laughs. But then don't go thinking you'll be laughing all the time. It's Tarrantino he likes to play with you don't forget.
If you looking at the mixed reviews and thinking hmmm don't know what I should do, to buy or not to buy. Well the main people on this that say it's good are the "film lovers" and no I don't mean people that go the cinema every week to see the newest million maker blockbuster I mean people that understand and treasure the world of film.

2009 was the year of Transformers 2 and other overly budgetted films, in the background lingers a hero to show us that the industry still understands some our needs for quality film making.
Moon although a major plot twist is revealed fairly quick it does very well to work with this and make you understand why it did it. I could right a lot more about this and it's storyline but I suggest if you like physcological sci-fi films you should give Moon a chance.

Truly disappointing from start to finish.
Being a fan of Johnny Depp's and Christian Bale's old work (Finding Neverland, What's Eating Gilbert Grape?, Machinist, American Physco) I was naive into thinking they had returned to their old ways after all their recent upsets.
The story moves way to fast which in a way is understandable because of the protagonists story but surely they could of missed some scenes out. And because it moves so fast there is not enough of each scene to make you enjoy it. As soon as you see Johnny go into bust his first bank (of the film) you think you're in for a treat (Inside Man style) but instead you see a 5 minute clip of just childish bank robbers.
I know the directors were tied down by the true story element but there was no need to make it so boring.
I gave it three but it is a very low three.

After watching the trailer I was a little let down because I was expecting a lot more. One of my friends recommended it but I still wasn't sold until the price plummited all over, to around 20.
After playing the first mission I was still wasn't sold into thinking it would be my new game. Then it struck, the freeplay! This is the life of the game, I played through freeplay for ages just destroying nazi tanks, outposts, petrol stations, and the lot. Once I had tired myself I hit the story up again and it picked itself up from it's alright start.
Now I have to say I think I'm playing one of, if not the best Single Player Game of 2009. The amount of fun you can have on this is unbelievable and the reward you get from it by achieving new "perks", for example. being able to plant bombs while being watched by a nazi. Stuff that just brings a whole new element to the game.
I could rant on about my love for this game for hours but theres just no point. Like GTA, Assasins Creed, Hitman, pretty much anything. Buy The Saboteur! If your iffing and arring just buy it already I took the plunge and never looked back.
Skullcandy Hesh Headphones
Lets face it everyones heard of skull candy and knows that they make headphones so these headphones get a lot of questions and people asking to see them. I was thoroughly surprised the jack fit in my Iphone 2G which made me not have to buy an adapter. I took them to america for 9 weeks travelling this summer and they survived all of it in the top of my rucksack getting knocked about. They are very good at isolating sound out and giving you good quality but they did hurt my ears after wearing them to long. Very good for airplane or long bus rides. They are hard to fall asleep to with on. All around they were a good purchase for the price at the time and provided exactly what I wanted if you want some mini speakers aswell they go pretty loud!

Not knowing what to expect off this newest installment I was quite surprised with the delivery they provided. I thought all this focus on going around the neighbourhood would be really boring but I came to like it within about two seconds of the game. It's really good you can go bike down to Central Park and Busk for tips or go for a nice jog to build your athletic skill.
This Sims does not contain creatable neighbourhoods and this is my one only fault with the game, because I always enjoy making my own cities and making my own storylines but on this one it seems like this has been done for you already nevertheless it wasn't to big of a blow to the game as a whole.
Instead of Aspirations you now have Lifetime achievements and Rewards. With such rewards as the "Steel Bladder", which yes you guessed it means you can just walk about without ever needin that toilet.
The customisation in this game is of an epic scale you can take any piece of furniture and change it in to something new with the vast amounts of colour pallets and patterns. You cannot actually change the physical parts of the objects just the colour.
I could rant on and on about this being a great new game but I will leave it at that. 10/10 if you loved the others you will love this one.

Twelve Monkeys brings you a really interesting tale of drama, sci-fi, adventure and a whole lot more. Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis deliver performances of their career. Willis plays a fugitive used in time travel tests to find out why most of the Earth's population was wiped out my a plague.
Even though your first guess of the ending is most probably right it makes for a fantastic watch. Over two hours watch yourself be dragged through this painful travelling with Willis. The sets and the storyline particularly interested me and they did not fail to deliver all the way through the movie. One not to miss for and Film Fantatics.
This Is England

Having heard such good things from this movie I have got to say I was expecting a lot more from what was provided. Set in the 80s, This Is England follows a very harsh story of a young recluse. Being the odd one out makes him a key target for a gang.
The story line progressed really well and didn't seem to want to stop with the reality, until 3/4 the way through the whole film slows down and almost reverses along that very well timed build up. I found some scenes a little hard to interprit. For example at one point there is tension in the gang but it isn't very well displayed so I found myself looking for hidden jokes or dialogue I'd missed only to find that this was the Directors way of showing "tension".
Even though I thought the story line was very true to the point and taught a good lesson in some areas I just feel to many parts let it down. For example the protagonist in one scene "makes out" with a girl that looks at least 5+ years older than him and to be honest it just doesn't fit in at all.
I wanted to give it 3 and a 1/2 but I couldn't so had to get stuck with a 3.

James Bond: Quantum Of Solace

I really enjoyed Call of Duty 4 and I like James Bond before they ruined it with the recent movie. For this reason I waited a while before acquiring the game.
I was completly thrown off when I got the game, I threw myself straight at the story. The first level completly submerged me and I was in love. It was a fantastic storyline to play even though most of it was Casino Royale not Quantom of Solace.
After the story line I headed to the online play, a nice little factor it was aswell. Seen as it was built on the CoD4 engine I found relitvly easy. With the option to buy your guns and gadgets for the online match it makes it rather fun.
A definate play for any bond or FPS fan. Pure enjoyment.
