  1.  best hd mediaplayer i've used, but lacks a basic function

Owned mine for a few weeks now, have been looking for a decent hd player for a while and I have had a few other makes which I sent back. Overall I have to say that this is the best one I have come across. Play back hd 1080p mkv's is fantastic, 720p is not bad either. My only niggle (and it's not the price) is there is no skip forward or backward function leaving you to just fast forward and reverse which only goes at the speed of x16; which is pretty poor. Also the resume feature, for which every file has a resume point; rarely works and if you disconnect the hard drive all resume points are lost completely, which then means you need to fast forward x16 for quite a while to get back to the scene you left it at. Great machine, but I can't quite understand why basic funtions have been left out. I still recommend buying this player though at least it's not bugged up like most HD media players.

  2.  Awesome package

Awesome packaging, rare to Bluray. Don't get me wrong, steelbooks are nice; but they're all the same, it's nice to have unique packaging relating to the movie. This is only in English, 6.1 dts or 5.1 dd ex and only english subs; a true UK product. I would assume that it's locked to region B. Picture quality as would be expected is perfect. There's not a lot of fast movement in this movie, so as for ghosting it doesn't really get a chance of appearing. The detail in whats left of the guys ear is crazy! All in all, it was one of the best dvd's; now one of the best Blu rays!

  3.  HD DVD, BLU RAY?

I owned the US BLU RAY release of this title, as soon as I realised it was not the extended cut I sold it and bought the german HD DVD extended steelbook edition, which comes with most of the features from the r1 ultimate dvd. This isnt cheap, round about £30.00; the picture quality was more or less the same as its BLU RAY counterpart, not excellent but definately of hi def standard. If this BLU RAY is indeed the full cut of the movie; at £12.99, special features or none; this is an absolute bargain!

  4.  A Blu Ray Release that equals the Quality of the Film!

What an Awesome movie! With a Blu Ray Release which has really gone to town visually! I own the US import of this title and assuming it being the same transfer, I can confirm that this Blu Ray Rocks! Watching in 1080p produces a clearer than clear image; not bogged down by any noise or digital artifact which seems to be the case with so many previous releases. The special effects in this movie cope seemlessley with the Hd format, as if in an exclusive relationship. I only go on about the picture; as I was an early adopter of Blu Ray and Hd dvd and have watched very many Titles, but have to say the majority of (special effect/cgi) Titles are hindered by being in HD and sometimes the special effects can look awefully fake. Granted these are mainly older titles but quite a few new titles aswell. I can only hope that this is a sign that all new releases on Blu Ray are now going to be worth changing from dvd. I don't know about that, but what I do know is this is Best bluray you can get for less than £20.00(until Incredible Hulk possibly?)

  5.  Easily best marvel superhero film ever made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As like everyone i was disgusted with the first movie 'hulk' and i don't think it did any favours for eric bana's career either (good film since? Munich? Thats about it. When i saw the trailer for this movie i knew it was a must see; gotta say im surprised it didn't do well at the cinema as the trailer showed how different it was to the first one. Anyway easily best marvel superhero movie so far, as only 3 months ago i was saying the same about iron man! Who does appear in this movie too!
