  1.  Sony Stereo headphones MDR-XD100

    Posted:

As an arranger of music and working on the computer using the usual standard music software packages--it is necessary to hear what I have written on playback. I would highly recommend using Sony Stereo Headphones MDR-XD100. I have previously used MDR V50-but find that the MDR-XD100 far surpasses anything prviously made by Sony. Using headphones eliminates the need to 'keep the volume down' when having to work through the night. I can hear every note I have written--but more important the wrong ones as well, which is easy to correct. I can then safely go to print and despatch the arrangement to the various orchestras which I am associated with. The computer generated sounds are highly enhanced on the playback and a full spectrum of sound from bass through trombones/saxes and trumpets. I highly recommend these earphones.
