On the face of it, you shouldnt really like the main character but her humanity and grief will dare you to dislike her. Cleave is a real talent, a middle-class thirty something male so able to place himself in the shoes of a adultress, grieving, working-class mother so brilliantly, i will be suprised if this is not a 'classic' in years to come. Such a sad and shocking storyline which will really have you questioning how Britain would react in the face of such tragedy

I liked tunnels so brought deeper as my holiday read and loved it. The characters unfold and we get to know a couple of them a bit better. Great twist to this one, can't wait to read freefall now.

Many a Charlie Parker novel reader will have a couple of ereka moments whilst reading this newest installment. With Connollys trademark mixture of crime fiction meets supernatural, this book is without a doubt his best yet. Just dont read it just before you go to bed...................

This is the best book ive read so far this year. Leave a day free coz once youve picked it up you wont be doing a thing else. Zoeys charcter develops further as do a couple of other characters which will shock all you marked readers.
I didnt realise what a good book this was untill i was still worring about the storyline a month after i'd finshed it. Reads like a crime novel but plays on your mind like a pyscological thriller. Highly recommended.

I love that this is written by a mother and daughter duo. Its kind of Twilight meets Hogworts though not as well written as the HP series. Zoeys character is very likeable and the books get better and better as the series goes on. Its not just for teens though(im 26!) and there are a couple of parts i wouldnt want my daughters reading under 16 and thats the only reason ive given 4 instead of 5 stars.

Very entertaining and funny book, the only thing is that this is no where as good as Sophie Kinsellas shopaholic books
