Unless youve been living in a cave for the last fifteen years with only a eight track of Chas n Dave you'll be fully aware of who Nirvana are and what the unplugged session represents. This was seen by many as Nirvanas best ever performance. Not only because of the tragic demise a year later of Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain but because of the heart and soul that is so obvious throughout the whole album.
With the DVD version eventually being released it was yet another chance to marvel in the genius that was Nirvana. Most people would have seen the gig by now on Mtv as it has been shown numerous occasions but at least here you have the full unedited version. Even down to Kurt Cobain signing autographs at the end.
A significant part in anyones collection and a must for anybody experiencing Nirvana for the first time.
Just do me one favour... once you have watched this DVD keep going. This isnt what Nirvana is all about. Your next stop is 'Live and Loud' where you will discover a entirely different sound. One that will leave you wanting more.
