  1.  Left me wanting more!

    Posted:

I read all 4 volumes of the original Vampire Diaries series in a weekend because I couldn't put them down. Plus Stefan + Damon = *swoon*! Give them a try... worth it for the price and mine have now been passed around so much they definately earnt it. Can't wait for the next installment to make it over here (book 1 from the second series has already been released in the States).

  2.  Loved it!

I think the Twilight books left a lot of people wanting more vampire sagas and these books do the trick! Eventhough these books pre-date the Twilight saga by over ten years they don't feel dated at all. They're a lot different from the TV show but Stefan and Damon are still smoking hot. If you liked the Twilight books give these a try - they're a real bargain for the price!

  3.  Good but...

I read this pretty quickly which is a testament to how much I wanted to know how it ended! Which is usually a good thing but, like one of the other reviewers noted, the characters lacked depth. So I really kept reading to find out what happened in general and didn't really care about the characters. But a good idea... and the LHC stuff/science was written much better than Dan Brown's attempt in Angels and Demons. Give it a go - you might love it.

  4.  Not bad

I bought these at the reduced price of £19.99 which was worth it but wouldn't even think about buying them full price.
They look black on the photo but when worn with other black clothes they look more like a deep, dark green. As previously noted in the other reviews the sash is black and white.

As a comfortable size 10 in pretty much everything I own I found these a little snug.

  5.  An antidote for boredom...

I read the whole of this book on a cross-country coach journey and I couldn't put it away. I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Especially, those suffering from Stephenie Meyer withdrawal.
Can't wait for the next installment.
