  1.  Its - well ...... different!

I can't decide what this game is trying to be but after after about 20 hrs its fun, thrilling, annoying and frustrating all at the same time. It does nothing better than other games apart from the massive potential of having tons of players in the same world at the same time. The driving physics are just right for this type as they are arcade instead of simulation which ultimately means more fun. The cars are awesome as is their exhaust soundtrack - try the Gt40! . The open world is huge and Hawaii has the most complicated road network i have ever seen. There is a fluff layer of getting surgery (?) , haircuts and new clothes but its really the driving that counts. Its so big that you cannot learn the roads, also the turns are not too clear so pile ups and sudden stops are many. GTA and Saints Row did the clothing, pads and haircut routine superbly and this game adds nothing, would have been more interesting if players bought different houses in a town and could sell to new players as the price went up!! - overall its a good game but would I return to it in a few months? - probably not.... Burnout Paradise is still King !

a lot of fun but not for 1 player!!

Fisrst off - I love board games and Monopoly is King for me, its a flawed concept but still great fun and certainly very competitive.

this title has lots of different versions to play but for us we just play the classic game - old school but very familiar. You can customise the rules to suit classic variations. THIS IS WHERE IT WINS - its the same as playing the real board game but you don't have to handle any money or deeds,' everything is straight forward and fun, no cheating can take place. Best of the lot is no putting the board away afterwards!

As I stated before this title has loads of diiferent versions to play but for us it has been worth it just for the one game. If you love monopoly then you will love this all variations of monopoly are distractions, there is only one real version which BTW came out in the UK in 1935!!

  3.  Half finished? Half Dead - Don't care

Initially I had good thoughts about Borderlands, it started off great, I liked the little robot, the shooting skrags and mutants was fun. As I worked my way through It dawned on me that this is the game, I had thought I was doing little side missions as a learning curve not realising this is all there is! .................... Well if this is all there is then its not good. Everywhere you go you shoot the same type of beast and is monotonous and relentless, seems its just to keep you busy. Driving is a chore as they have ingnored all driving controls from every other game and its just a simple forward or backwards in the direction of the camera, unfortunately the camera moves far quicker than steering so its a pain, forget Mad Max style V8s racing through landscapes this is like a bobcat and not as much fun. Areas are not seemless and loading times between them are very long. I killed a boss called nine toes and when I went back to his lair later there he was so I killed him again and I'm sure this could go on and on. Save points are everywhere like it thinks its a bigger game but it isnt. The nearest game I can liken this to is RED FACTION GUERILLA, but Red is far more fun, bigger and varied, with the quirky graphics which make your eyes ache this looks more like unfinished Red Faction before they threw it out and made a much better game.

  4.  Excellent BUT only 7/10

Certainly a must purchase game that is thoroughly exciting and enjoyable. Why only 7/10 well, firstly i did it in a straight 12 hour play and did not encounter anything that was hard to work out. In fact i often found that when other characters are in the gameplay they led the way and so it all ended up being a bit spoon fed. It actually played like a movie. I found the first uncharted a lot more demanding, this feels quality but its visual and the actual game is not that hard to master, saying that i do have 30 more artifacts to find!

  5.  Need For Speed misses again

3rd time duff in a row for Need For Speed. Terribly long load up times, network play thats impossibly frustrating and in a nutshell the game feels lacking in excitement. What is it all about and where do the developers think they are going, down a wrong alley thats for certain. After the super fast exciting games on the PS1 and PS2 it all ended with most wanted, probably the highlight of the series. Here we have just a racing game that certainly is trying to emulate Gran Turismo. I would place it nearer Supercar Challenge. Get back to basics with supercars on fast made up tracks with police chases. Only buy if you have complered Dirt 2 as that game is much more fun with better racing physics and a superb online experience

     One star is too much

Where do i start, I would like to say something good about this game but its almost impossible. Whatever is good is completely overshadowed by what a mess this is. Huge open space - hmm yes but as soon as you come across a challenge you are out of it. The loading times are horrendous and it happens every time you do anything. Network play is like going back to the dark ages. Single games only and then you are thrown out. No lobby lurking allowed! It took a game like Burnout Paradise to show the world how to operate network play. I cannot express how tedious this game is.

  7.  its okay but we've seen it before

You will get bored of this very quickly, it starts off great, huge open map, lots of vehicles etc but then thats it. Repetitive missions and very little variation. Remember the PS2 title JUST CAUSE - well basically here it is updated. Same problems throughout

  8.  WOW - best graphics yet on PS3

Burnout has just shot up the playing field. If the demo is anything to go by then ignore NFS, buy Juiced 2 and wait longingly for Burnout Paradise. The city graphics are absolutely stunning, the freeroam is an excellent feature and the races very challenging. Burnout has always been about speed and gameplay, they look to be here in spades. The online feature is good fun and it looks like a bargain

  9.  oh my god what happened

I bought Juiced 2 to rev myself up for NFS. When I got NFS I was expecting something great - very disappointed. Its just a track based game with very little customization. the whole game is repetitive and boring with very little to inspire working through it apart from it costs 40 quid. Juiced is far more addictive with betting possibilities between players and a whole lot more fun. Neither are great but Juiced beats NFS hands down, who would have thought that?

  10.  Stuntman - crippled

Save your money and buy the ps2 first stuntman game for a fiver! - this is easily completed in about 4 hours of play. The graphics are so so and the gameplay annoying. this company excelled with the first Driver game and it went way downhill after that. they like to concentrate on cut scenes but these are at the expense of gameplay. If I wanted cut scenes I would rent a DVD -
