Gallows - CD

This is not the Gallows I knew and Loved.
Don't get me wrong. It's alright if it was a first release but as a passionate fan who had loved going to their gigs pre Warner record deal I felt very disappointed by this new release.
It sounds like Gallows has been leashed and muzzled.
On a plus note though this well produced more indie Gallows is attracting much more attention and I wish them all the best in their new direction.

As a big fan of Will Ferrel, anchorman and talladega nights my mates and I headed to the cinema with great expectations.
This was way off the mark. The humour felt very low compared to the usual standard and the script felt rushed and unfinished.
If it will cost you to see it don't bother.
Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends

A couple of good songs (viva la Vida and violet hill) but all the rest sounds like it's straight out of a department store's lift.
Orchestra Of Wolves (New Special Edition)
Haven't come across another album this good in years...every song feels like it has the potential to become a punk classic. The album feels so fresh (a nice change from the majority of modern music) and contains so much energy that you can't help but be drawn in.
It's not for the faint-hearted but if you're a fan of bands like The Bronx, Donnybrook, Everytime I die and The Warriors I would definitely recommend this album to you. Out of the 2000 plus albums on my itunes this is by far the most played.
