yep, it truely is abysmal.i have watched this a couple of times to see if it gets any better.believe me,it doesnt. kevin spacey is brilliant, but is let down by the others. the guy who plays clark kent/superman (yep, that good i dont know, or care to know his name) is more tree than wood.lois lane character-again, i couldnt care about who played her-terrible.in fact, the tv series clark and lois was far better! all in all, DONT WASTE YOUR CASH!

now this is more like it! superb! it really is! soon as possible, the action kicks in, with a space battle that puts all other star wars space battles into insignificance! fantastic movie, but...Hayden Christensen still cant act himself out of a paperbag. but, apart from that, fantastic!

  4.  now things are getting better!

ok, phantom menace wasnt all that. jar jar binks, along with wooden acting spoilt it. now things are getting better in attack of the clones.great action sequences, better acting, and far less of jar jar.

  5.  its not bad...after you have watched itm a few times

im a die hard original trilogy fan, so i was really looking forward in seeing this.at first, all was not good. jar jar bloody binks was one, and, well, the acting the other. ewan mcgregor et all are far too wooden.acting as though they have a rod up their....backs. but, after getting the dvd, and watching it a couple of times, it really isnt that bad.worth having

  6.  splits the audience down the middle

i went to the cinema to see this, before getting the dvd. 20 mins into the film, alot of the audience got up and walked out. glad i didnt! ok, so there are no blood and guts! infact, you dont see anything. but what it does is highten your senses, and put it this way, i can watch a lot of horror, but this still gives me goosebumps, and i have to really decide wether to put it on.

  7.  even my folks loved it!

comedy was redefined when they made this! george a romero was so impressed, he invited simon pegg and edgar wright over to america to his shoot of land of the dead, and they ended up with cameos as zombies! a superb film, with razor script, perfect comedy timing.

  8.  as good as the hype!

just get it. its that simple.and that good.and a few quid.just get it!

  9.  good, but not the best

    Posted:

i saw this at the cinema, and felt let down.too many villains, an absolutely stupid scene with peter parker dancing in a resteraunt (?-exactly) but, because i already have 1&2, i had to get this. and you know what? im glad i did. because watching again at home, yeah, it still wasnt as good as the others, but it grew on me, and better than i first thought at the cinema.

  10.  voted no1 best story by doctor who fans-i can see why!!

firstly, the extras are superb. the documentary is a joy, with stories about behind the scenes, and interesting ones such as a few episodes in, the iron cross on davros's right hand man disappeared, due to its nazis overtones!.then there is the programme itself. micheal wisher easily being the best davros ever.the guy method acted, by blinding himself by putting a bag over his head in rehearsals! the sets, the acting, all brilliantly superb, with a cracking story. it all puts todays doctor who to shame!
