Codemasters have done it once again, first of all DiRT was a huge success and now GRID makes its appearance without any disappointments. The graphics are phenomenal and some of the finest on the 360, Cars looks superb and look very realistic with some spectacular crashes and wheels flying about during races. Career mode is very entertaining as you have to create a team and through time work your way up to hiring a team mate and dealing with sponsorships to make your team cash from race to race. The action is superb with race incidents and great looking cars plus having 3 race classes keeps the action different from the US to Europe and finally Japan each offering different types of racing so you never get bored. Overall this game is one of the finest racing games out, arguably the best at the moment and will keep you playing for a long time. A really great job from Codemasters.

  2.  AWESOME POTENTIAL AVERAGE GAME

Assassin's Creed had the potential to be one of the greatest games ever made with its very unique historical stealth/assassin concept. Sadly its missed out on being one of the greatest due to its repetitive gameplay. We all know the idea of this game is very different and very very cool because its set centuries ago. First off, the 3 main cities of Jerusalem, Damascus and Acre are superb and absolutely massive. The graphics are 10/10 without a doubt and the city feels alive with hundreds of people around you. As for the gameplay, its also superb with sword fights which are pretty slick, jumping from rooftop to rooftop while being chased is also very enjoyable. Its only downfall is the fact that the assassination quests are so repetitive and it gets old fast. This just kills the game in my book because the main focus of this game is the assassinations and getting the key point awfully wrong is a big let down. To sum it all up.... Assassin's Creed has so many good points and has the potential to be one of the greatest ever with some stunning visuals but repetition has let the game down in a big big way. To be fair i did enjoy parts of this game and it had some great moments but it could have been so much more.

  3.  PERFECT

Gears Of War was something completely different and amazing, now Gears Of War 2 has raised the bar yet again. The storyline is more deep this time round with more cutscenes and a bit of back history into the characters which was left out of Gears 1. Graphically...it's one of the best looking games ever made, now with the addition of more weapons and new characters it makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Gameplay is pretty much the same as last time round so it wont take long to use to the controls again. The cover system feels easier to use this time and now you can have chainsaw duels with your enemies so there has been a lot of different features added this time round. Overall Gears of War 2 has been long awaited and it's definitely been worth the wait because its superb, the only bad thing about this game is that you actually complete the single player campaign which sucks because you just want it to go on and on. Overall Gears 2 is a huge success with an epic storyline that keeps you wanting more, fantastic graphics and smooth gameplay, what more could you want ? Can't miss out on this superb series get it now.

  4.  BRILLIANT ON AND OFFLINE

Call Of Duty 4 is one of the best first person shooters out. The game is a year old now and your still findings thousands of people playing online, if it can keep so many people attracted to it for such a long time then its definitely a stand out game. The single player campaign could have been longer because you could fire through it within 5 to 6 hours although the story is pretty good and will keep you going back to try again and again. As far as graphics go, its pretty smooth and definitely a good looking game. Online play is perfection, up to 16 maps to play on and it always makes for a great challenge with lots of people to shoot at, online gameplay will keep you entertained for far too long. Its not just pointless shoot people to win the match but you get things to achieve such as 5 kills in a row without dying and you get to call in air-strikes and 7 in a row to call in helicopter support. Customization of your weapons is fantastic too. Overall the single player is good but slightly short and the multiplayer is fantastic which makes it into one great game.

  5.  Formula 1 is Back

Formula 1 Championship Edition is a very enjoyable racing game and gives you a great sense of speed when your flying round the track. The graphics are very good and there are 6 game modes to choose from, with the best being the career mode, its pretty good as you must start as an unknown driver and work your way through the ranks over a 5 year career. All 18 tracks are included and look good and provide a challenge depending on what difficulty your attempting it on. This game has a few bad points and the most noticeable is the fact that the roster is very out of date, commentary is rather bad as they seem to repeat themselves over the course of the race but these bad points don't bother me in the slightest because am a huge F1 fan so in my book its a pretty good racing experience and its good for beginners and experienced racers. A pretty good game and always a challenge.

  6.  5 STARS AND MORE

Bioshock is without any doubt one of the greatest games ever made. Its main focus is its story which is mysterious and keeps you interested, plus your itching get to the bottom of it. It just makes you want to play and play till you figure it all out, its very addictive and incredibly enjoyable. As far as graphics go its got some of the best looking visuals in a game to date especially the water. The city of Rapture is where the game takes place and it is incredible, very well built but quite creepy and eery. It definitely makes you jump on a couple of occasions and the amount of customization you can do to your character is great. Bioshock is a very unique game and its just packed with quality and entertainment from beginning to end with some of the most stunning graphics and audio around. Its an absolute must have game for the Xbox360, can't see any fault with this game because even the greatest games have a tiny problem or two but Bioshock is flawless. 10/10

  8.  OUTSTANDING

This is a breathtaking game with some of the best graphics around. All the characters are brilliant and the storyline is great, not much of the characters background's are revealed in this game but I think it was meant to be that way to leave the door open for Gears Of War 2 which is going to reveal many things from past and present in the Gears Of War world. I always go back to this game time and time again. Its great to complete then leave for a month or so and then go back and do it all over again, not many games make you do that, and this game will be getting kept as long as the 360 is alive. Its meant to become a trilogy which would be absolute class. All the weapons are great and the whole mission from start to finish is amazing with no time to rest because its a constant shootout. The cover system is what it's all about because without it, you would get blown to bits over and over again, Really cannot wait for Gears Of War 2 so we can pick up the story where we left off. A must buy just like the 2nd and 3rd game will be. 10/10

  9.  BRILLIANT IDEA

This is a great way to introduce more people to Live. Currently own the 360 Elite and i have Xbox Live and cant really do without it because you can download demo's and trailers etc and get add-ons for your current games. Plus online play is just superb with games like COD4 and Gears Of War 2. This starter kit gives you everything you need for a really good price so if you own the arcade console then definitely get this. I got the Xbox Core console when it was first released so i had it for about 10 months before i got rid of it. Dont know how i managed all that time without Xbox LIve and a Hard drive. A must buy for any non Xbox Live users
