  1.  average sequal

don't go into this film expecting the level of suspense or thrills of the first taken.it's not terrible but it's certainly not a a patch on the original.it feels watered down which of course it was

  2.  another great neil marshall film

some people have given this a hard time....i'm not sure why?? i think it's a great little action, historical, gore fest.good cast, cinematography, costumes, sets etc.what's not to like??and it's british.give it a chance you might be surprised.

  3.  the worst of the new french horrors

    Posted:

it's not often i slate horror films but this is amazingly bad.in fact i can't think of a single positive thing to say.i read a review that gave it a real hard time saying terrible acting,fx,photography etc and thought 'it can't be that bad' trust me it is.to make things worse the 'creatures' are laughable and the fx are poor with hardly a single drop of blood spilled.avoid.

  4.  naff but enjoyable

i loved ninja assassin which was also pretty naff but amazingly gore soaked so i was looking forward to this film...and it does deliver some good cheese filled ninja action.not as bloody as ninja assassin [no surprise] but still worth a watch.

  5.  amazingly powerful stuff

wow...just bought this album at the weekend and it is one of the best things i've heard for a long time.mellow in parts bone crunching in others.if your a fan of metal/prog rock this is a must have.i'm a big fan of blueprint and earthtone 9 so this was right up my street.

  6.  fantastic stuff

another brilliant release from a wonderful British band that not many people know about.it contains all 3 albums [and an e.p] played live on dvd and cd.all the great tunes are here and at one point on all this could be yours they have 5 guitars on stage!!! they combine a perfect loud/quite/stop/start blend of mellow and bone crunching guitar riffs.i'm giving this a 5/5 because i love this band so much.highly recommended to fans of interesting guitar music...one of the few British bands [biffy clyro and twin atlantic included] that are making interesting music.

  7.  excellent film...but not the directors cut

loved the directors cut of this.sadly the uk isn't getting that version....yet. i'm sure it will come, maybe when the 5 disc set comes out at the end of the year in the states.

another cracking album by hull's [up the tigers] finest fonda 500.if your tired of over produced tosh played by idiots in tight trousers then check this out for something a little different...a mad mix of hip hop[beatbox] electronic and guitars [yeah!!] that somehow works and brings back fond thoughts of the grifters, pavement, guided by voices.lovely days.10/10 double thumbs up my friends!!
