  1.  The Must-See Movie of the Year

    Ordinarily I worry about seeing a film version of a book I love at the cinema. What if they don't do it justice? If only I had known how amazing this film was going to be, I could have saved myself weeks of worry.
    Director Gary Ross did a fantastic job of making the transition from page to screen. The fantastic scenery and costumes were overshadowed only by the incredible acting. Jennifer Lawrence's portrayal of Katniss Everdeen left me mesmerised. Woody Harrelson and Lenny Kravitz were brilliant as Haymitch and Cinna respectively, and Donald Sutherland's depiction of the evil President Snow gave me chills.
    Of course there were moments and characters that were left out, but that was to be expected and none of that ruined the film in any way whatsoever. Until I actually left the cinema and thought about it, I didn't even realise most of what was missing because I was so engrossed in the story.
    I won't give away anymore details about this film. If you want to know what I'm talking about, buy the film and see for yourself how amazing it is. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

  2.  May The Odds Be Ever In Your Favour

    If you are are Hunger Games fan, then this pin is definitely for you.
    The pin itself is the perfect size so that it's not so large that it's too ostentatious, yet not so small that it cannot be seen from more than 10 feet away.     I only bought and read this book in the first place because my friend wouldn't stop nagging me about it. I bought this book against my better judgement, as to be honest I really didn't like the sound of it. I will never doubt my friend EVER again!! I will warn you now, only buy this book if you are willing to stay up until 4 in the morning because you simply cannot bring yourself to put the book down. I was dubious about this book at first because to me the blurb makes it sound like a horrible book filled with mindless violence, but trust me when I say The Hunger Games is about so much more than that. True, you cannot read The Hunger Games without reading about violence, because the Games themselves are a fight to the death, but along the way you also get to read about friendship, courage, loyalty and love. The Hunger Games is a fantastic series and I urge everyone to read these fantastic books.

    The title of my review says it all. There is simply no other way to describe this film. I am a great lover of Harry Potter, both films and books alike and to be honest, though I love the films dearly I have always been slightly disappointed at their failure to completely live up to the books. Even though it is only half a book, I can say with utmost sincerity that this is the only Harry Potter film where I left the cinema each of the five times I went to see it saying, "That was fantastic, even better than the book!". This film completely lives up to the expectations I had from the book and beyond, I could not imagine a more perfect end to the series. As upset as I am about the end of the Harry Potter film era, the ending could not have been more brilliant. I look forward to being able to watch this film again and again and again.......... and again!

  5.  Amazing, best Narnia film yet!

    This film is absolutely amazing! I laughed, I cried, I sat on the edge of my seat in anticipation, and I wasn't the only one. This film had the whole cinema itching in preparation for the brilliant scenes we knew were yet to come from the opening credits! A must-see for the whole family!

    Absolutely amazing, a must-have for any musical lovers! Even if there are some musicals which you don't like, it doesn't matter because I guarantee there are at least 5 others on here that you love!

    Absolutely fantastic! The best twilight film yet! I was a bit concerned about seeing this film, as eclipse has always been my favourite book, but I was not dissappointed in the least. David Slade has done an excellent job in directing a film that is both romantic and action-packed and truly represents all of the things that we love about twilight

  9.  Omigod, a must buy!

    I saw this show in February in London and immediately bought the CD of the Broadway Cast the second Act 1 finished! You can't help but want to get up and dance to the songs and I am so glad that I now own both the Broadway copy and the London copy, that's how amazing the show and its music is - it makes you want both copies!

    I saw this show in London in February and it quickly became my favourite musical! The show is so much fun all I wanted to do was get up and dance and sing along, I am so thrilled that I get to now with the CD. A perfect way to re-live the magic over and over again!
