  1.  A Pleasant Surprise

I was so surprised how good this show is. I'd always thought of it as a poor Mighty Boosh rip off or something - how wrong was I? The writing is incredible, similar to The Office in style and in it's consistent high quality and the songs are actually good as well as funny. Plus, with this being an American show, there are 12 episodes instead of the standard 6 in a British sitcom so there's plenty to enjoy. Plus, Murray is brilliant.

  2.  Poor Effort

This felt like one long Little Britain sketch rather than the classic Royle Family of old. Very lazy writing and the characters have all become so 2 dimensional - and surprise, surprise, they all have a sing song at the end, who didn't see that coming? Dave's dad was a good character, but otherwise a major disappointment.

  3.  Brilliant

A true modern classic. The level of detail is quite stunning and it gets better with every watch. Plus, the commetary tracks are so funny you'll die of laughter.

  4.  Utterly Dreadful

Red Dwarf was always a show that got steadily worse, with series 8 being significantly inferior to series 1. These specials continue the trend, but seriously up the ante. Some of the worst television I've ever seen. Only about 2 funny moments amongst the entire 3 episodes and a very poor plot that consists of re-hashes of other ideas. If you loved Red Dwarf in it's heyday then avoid unless you want to be seriously disappointed. If you've never seen Red Dwarf then watch the early series.

  5.  Perfect

Quite possibly the greatest comdey of the past 20 years. Even better than The Office. Even better than Father Ted. Even better than I'm Alan Partridge. A true lost classic.
