The Fame Monster (UK Deluxe 2CD)
Lady Gaga - CD
25 New from
Not everyone likes Lady Gaga but we love her songs! The Fame has proven to be one of the best albums this year with four number ones!, and I can seriously see "The Fame Monster" following in its tracks...
To everyone who's considering to buy this album, just think in a couple of weeks time this album will be everywhere in the charts, you'll want to hear it first hand!
The Fame Monster's first single "Bad Romance" has had over 570'000 hits within its first week! Its also a good opperunity to buy this album if you didnt get "The Fame", there were still loads of good tracks on the album that were unreleased.
The Richard Laymon Collection
10 New from
I've read the positive reviews for Night in the Lonesome October and managed to get my hands on a copy on play.com, the book ofcourse was divided with a second book (No Sanctuary).
To be honest I thought NITLO was a little bit boring. I think Laymon had about several good ideas that were all fairly similar, so instead of writing a book on each of them he stuck them together which made a bit of a mess. Despite that, the book was well-written.
No Sanctuary was a lot better, some of the ideas in the book were so outragous its funny. This would fall into about 4 categorys but for any Laymon fan its a must read!
The High End Of Low
Marilyn Manson - CD
20 New from
After Marilyn Mansons long anticipated seventh studio album, I can't honestly say it paid off that well...
If you're comparing this with his previous albums, you'll be quite disappointed. He's dealing with more personal issues here, which include suicide, death and affairs so this isn't really the best album to be playing around your parents.
The band to me seemed a bit "Western themed", its unusual for Manson but I found their was something different in each of his albums that's why it has a likable quality.
Devour, Leave a scar, Pretty as a ($), Four Rustic Horses, Arma-Geddon & WOW are the best tracks on the album, other than that they sound pretty similar and croaky...
If you enjoyed Mechanical Animals & The Golden Age of Grotesque, you'll love this one. For any fan this is obviously a must-have, but this is just to put you in the picture :-p
