Well after reading the Twilight Saga books numerous times, I couldn't wait to get my eyes into The Host. After the trilling read of the Twilight books, I thought it must be as good, if not better as this was aimed at adults. I could not be more wrong. I was very disappointed, the storey is about a love triangle between an alient being (Wanderer) and the host body it is in (Melanie) and Melanies boyfriend. It takes you on a boaring journey into nowhere but does explain the relationship that Melanie and Wanderer develop. Not a bad story, but there is nothing in it to keep you gripped. I only finished it as I thought "it has to get better, keep going and you'll see". Well it didn't, I had great difficulty finishing it. It is a very long book, but it goes on too long...... The style of writing is nothing like twilight, so if you are looking for something similar, don't buy this book, it will be a waste of money, you will be disappointed.

Wow - a bloody good read. Fantastic. It keeps you gripped and enthralled right through to the last pages of the book, un-putdownable. It is an exceptional piece of writing, as are the first three books, twilight, new moon, eclipse and now breaking dawn. You will not be disappointed.... I promise.....

Received this bookmark last week, to go with the books I got a couple of weeks before. It came in a clear plastic cover to protect it, and was packaged in a rather oversized box. The picture of the cast is very clear on it, and the tassle with the bead is a good feature, and hangs nicely over the edge of the book. Infact for £3.79 not bad at all. It was what I expected, nothing more, nothing less - it is just a book mark. PS the books are fab though, a must read for all. x
