  1.  If You Thought Dead Space Was Scary, Your Gonna Love This!

    Posted:

While I had just finished Alien Breed: Impact I came across the demo for download & thought I play that straight away. The graphics, movement & the brightness settings are spot on more than the first one. What's good you don't get bored I would however say link a PS3 up to a 5.1 surround system to get the perfect perfection of the sound, It will get you more on your seat playing it.

What Play.com have done which is great pre-ordering this you get Dead Space: Extraction (Other shops only give you the game Dead Space: Ignition not Extraction, pre-order with play, a far better deal) I wish now however I didn't buy Extraction for the Wii since this is now converted into HD. Please note you can use either a controller OR move controller to play this.

For now I'm finishing Alien Breed 2: Assault, but once this is delivered it's gonna be the only game to play not COD. : )

  2.  It's Really Good & The Different Weapons Are Such A Bonus!!!

I have to agree with the user (Monkee) about turning the noice effect off. When it's on all you get is a fuzzy effect like playing Silent Hill: Homecoming except in that game it's suppose to be like that. The gameplay is good & the controls are all the same as in GTA4. When getting the colour right for your TV usually setting it at 5 out of 10 on the bar is alright. Just have to experiment with the brightness & contrast though because it all depends if your TV is set in dynamic mode etc... Other than that it's all good fun.

  3.  A Master Piece Of A Movie, Can't Wait Until 3D Release : )

I was worried at first buying this if it would run on my PS3 from Hong Kong & it does : ) the region coding displays regions A & B however, this film it's self is not strict on regions as DVD so being honest I would say it's a region free film. If your going to play this on a PS3 (blu-ray disc) & you have a optical output cable to your DVD cinema kit 5.1. You should have your settings to "Bitstream Direct" if your running your film direct with a HDMI cable use the "Linear PCM" option. These methods should work best in sound & quality leave options as automatic (default).

The film I would say in blu-ray you will notice a complete difference to the DVD film it's so crystal clear & this being my first blu-ray film bought because I usually play the games instead, I was shocked how good the picture quality was. The sound is also brilliant & having my dolby digital pro logic on does seem to enhance the audio quality through 5.1.

Blu-ray are fantastic but I would say films from perhaps 2009 onwards seem to do more justice than earlier stuff because they can't seem to get it to perfection as yet, all they seem to be doing is cleaning the dust off the older films.

    Hope this helps.

  4.  Not A Great Follow Up, But Does Have Good Gore Clips : )

    Posted:

When watching this it reminded me of how bad that film "Camp Blood" was & the acting is very laid back/poor. However it does have moments of some scenes which make you feel on edge like the film "Saw" & those repulsive parts like they used to have in "Brain Dead" & "Evil Dead". The cartoon parts at the beginning & end are clever but do make you feel that this shouldn't have been a follow up from the first because it's set in a school not a cabin.

End result: Not bad & some parts will make you laugh & some cringe. It's not the worce film I have seen & is maybe worth watching if you like those classic horror/b-movie types.

  5.  If You Like Live Acoustic Sets, This Is The One For You.

This is such a good live acoustic/orchestra set. I haven't heard anything this good since Nirvana: MTV Unplugged & Tony Sly + Joey Cape: Acoustic album. It's a great price & I would say every track is done perfectly & has loads of differences to the album releases. This is worth buying, Not downloading.

  6.  This Works Very Well & So Does TuneUp Utilities 2010.

Does your PC seem slow & needs some repair? Well this works great. I've used 2008, 2009 & now 2010. It really does work & for 17.99 on play.com you can't go wrong. It basically keeps your PC tuned up & I havent had a problem with it. What I did find best was the shut down time & boot up time were much quicker since using this product.

  7.  All Good Fun! More To Do & Much Bigger Than Previous Ones.

This has to be my favourite lego game up to date, it uses the same detail as the other games in full 1080P (Just a little jumpy in parts but not to bad) Also whats good when you used to play co-op offline mode with a friend you had to wait for them to catch up "Usually the girlfriend who comes over ; )" not now... when you leave each other on the game a grid line goes between the screen so you can wonder off by yourself buying items & collecting treasure. Trophies are now available & I expect that they will include "Lego Rock Band" & "Lego Harry Potter". That's it really, if you own indiana jones the first game I would consider buying this it's really good.

    PLEASE NOTE:

CHECK YOUR GAME WHEN PLAYING TO MAKE SURE IT IS AUTOSAVING, BECAUSE I DIDN'T LOOK OUT FOR INDY'S BROWN HAT IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER TO INDICATE IT WAS AUTO-SAVING & WHEN I QUIT TO THE MAIN MENU NOTHING SAVED. EG, JUST DO ONE MISSION & JUST CHECK IT IS SAVING & YOU CAN'T GO WRONG FROM THERE. "YOU SHOULD SEE A MESSAGE SAYING AUTO SAVING ENABLED WHEN YOU CREATE YOUR FIRST SAVE GAME."

    Requirements & Features:

    1 - 2 Players (Co-Op Mode = Offline Only, There's No Online)
    Harddrive Space (Approx. 4.4 MB)
    Dualshock 3 (Vibrations, Vibrations.)
    PAL (UK)
    HD Output (720P, 1080i & 1080P)

  8.  Straight From My Kodak 4MP To This Samsung 12.2MP. Excellent

    Posted:

What a great camera this is indeed, a small front LCD screen & a quite big back LCD screen too.

    My Review Of It...

Samsung ST550: Small & compact, fits in those jeans pockets no problem, because it's touch screen too, it's very easy to use it & you basically would move around the screen like for instance an iPhone.

Battery: It comes with a 720MAH battery that can handle loads of recharge's but, they don't last very long when taking photos & trying new settings out. You can actually buy a battery for it that is 1200MAH, takes loads more photos with its extreme power but, does have a shorter life cycle when recharging to the 720MAH.

Carrying Case: There are ones available & you can get a nice leather one that fits snug for this to prevent scratching. If you find a case with a measurement of 60x98x25 mm (2.4"x3.9"x1") "WxHxD" that will fit fine.

Memory Card: I would suggest the SD Micro HC ones, these work fine & really all you need is a 4GB one. Sandisk OR Play.com ones work fine and sell them on here. Not sure about the 8GB ones have not tried them.

    Important Things:

.1. To activate the front LCD screen tap it with you finger nail not the thumb.

.2. If you want to use microsoft's windows picture downloader which is on your computer (default) you can turn off the software feature on the setting menu of the camera.

So overall this is an excellent camera with plenty of features & with it's one of a kind front screen it make those pictures of taking of yourself or someone with you a breeze.

  9.  Just Like An Indiana Jones Adventure

    IMPORTANT NOTICE...

Please make sure you have the PS3 system updated to 3.01, They have brought this fix out due to bug fixes & that the game running on system update 3.00 sometimes crashes on the levels. So if the Uncharted game is crashing it's because you need the PS3 update.

Ok for this game coming out the sort of same time Resistance did I thought i'd try it & i'm glad I did. The graphics on my 1080P Full HD are just breath taking so much work went into this game & for a great price you can't go wrong. The game reminds me of Tomb Raider, Another World & Flashback for jumping action & for the comical laughs in the cinematics I would have to say Monkey Island & Indiana Jones: The Fate Of Atlantis.

The controls are really easy to get used to & you can reload while moving, jump across to a wall & take cover as well. Trophies are included in this game you like trophy hunting for your records and collecting on the game + if you have a TV that has dimmed brightness you can adjust it quite high on the game anytime.

Can't wait until the sequel, i'll buy from Play & leave a review.

  10.  So Much Better Than The Free Edition & Also Easy To Use : )

    Posted:

Compaired to "Norton" & "Mcafee" this runs quite smooth on your computer & doesn't drain your computers RAM like the other ones I meantioned. I used to use "ZoneAlarm Extreme" and yeah it was good but did use a big part of your RAM and cost more also.

I have tested this on Windows XP Home Edition X86 (32 Bit) & works very well & this still supports even now Windows XP Professional X64 (64 Bit) also.

If you are looking for something easy to use & all in one then look no further because this really has it all. The updates are automatic which is a bonus because the program updates it's self without downloading the .exe file then loading it up. The AVG toolbar is excellent, you get to choose if you don't want to install the yahoo search because most people use google + when you do a search it has tick marks next to each website shown to tell you if it's safe & it's your own choice if you want to continue onto it.

So last off, I would recommend this program it has lots of features like Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, Anti-Spam, Firewall, Anti-Rootkit, System Tools, E-Mail Scanner, Link Scanner, Web Shield, Resident Shield, Update Manager & even Identity Protection: This works in windows xp 32bit but not supported on windows xp 64bit)

    Hope This Helps.
