  1.  tiny but slow

the device is small, maybe about an inch long. but it is incredibly slow.
    write speed: 4MBs
    read speed: 18MBs
honestly i have USB drives more than 5 years old faster than this.

  2.  Works well. Complicated setup

Connecting this in client mode was one of the hardest things i've ever done and i work in IT. The printed manual is overly brief and in places wrong. the pdf version on the cd is a lot better.
Once set up it works well, it's small stable and fast, and keeps itself to itself

  3.  The best performing item of this type.

The corsair gtr flash drives are by far and away the best performing drives of this type. You pay for it mind. but they are excellent.

  4.  re notworking with W7

    drive works perfectly with W7

W7 has built in back up software.

much quieter than the buffalo equivalent

  5.  As close to wired as wireless gets

i've used a lot of these over the years. my experience is that the really cheap ones drop all the time. this is the best i have used so far. it connects before my computer finishes booting. you'd be hard pressed to tell it from a wired connection.
