Heroes of Olympus
1 New from
First off you have to read the original Percy Jackson series to fully enjoy this book. The book is brilliant and clever telling of classic mythology and like the original series has some rather clever twists. It is a good long ready with some real edge of your seat moments, I won't reveal them as it will spoil it for you. It is good how charecters from previous books have been interwoven into this story and the story has been kept fresh and new.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (With PS3 Exclusive Content)

I was a big fan of Assassins Creed 2, easyish platinum if your interested, and didn't think it could be improved on but I was wrong. The game is bigger and better than ever and first you think it is the same game but there are little tewaks here and there that make the game flow quicker than before, the rope/crane lifts for example which whisk you up the side of a building. The multiplayer is a brilliant invention that you have to have a bit of skill and cunning to play because you go in all guns blazing so to speak then you won't last 5 mins. With 15 hours of single player, multiplayer and the new VR training rooms this game is value for money and well worth playing

Having just played the split second demo numerous times I can say that fans of the Burnout style racers will love this game. The racing is Burnout style with the aded bonus of being able to blow up the scenery to take out the other racers and create shortcuts. When I say blow up I mean destroy because if you charge up you meter enough by drifting and jumping you can drop airliners onto tthe track and completley change the layour of the race. Overall this game is fun, loud & entertaining, I can't wait for the full game to come out
The Five Greatest Warriors
For all those that have waited for 2 years to see what happened after the amazing cliff hanger at the end of 6 Sacred stones then let me tell you that you will not be dissapointed. Matthew Reilly keeps up the same fast pace and amazing action from the previous 2 books and throws in a few twist and turns for good measure. The action is like reading a hollywood blockbuster with deadly traps and truly nasty villains which do not let up until the last page. Anyone who cannot remember what happened previously then there is a handy synopsis covering the previous 2 books events.I have been a massive Matthew Reilly fan since first reading Contest and once again I have not been let down by his latest novel, let's hope that the next one is quicker than 2 years away!
Super Paper Mario

Super Paper Marion is a good & fun game and the idea that you can "flip" the screen is brilliant!I did find the game a little easy to complete and I think a younger gamer would foind the game play a bit more challening. There is plenty of humour injected throughout the game and a few nods are given to the original Mario Bros game if you listen carefully to the soundtrack.
