Case-Mate Samsung i9000 Galaxy S Tough Case / Black/Black
I've been looking for a while for a decent case for my Galaxy S, i have bought a couple of others over the months and some were cheap, others fitted fine then got extremely loose. This case it exactly what I wanted, it has a soft inner the phone sits in and a hard outer shell. The buttons work fine, without any frantic button pushing, the rubber feel grip on the back ensures that the phone does not slip through your fingers, but also gives you that comfortable feeling when you hold it.
I would HIGHLY recommend this cover to anyone with an i9000.
Philips BDP3000 Blu-ray Disc Player
Fantastic player. I plugged it into my broadband router and let it upgrade itself which it did happily. Not a single issue. the new firmware even let me watch divx movies from a USB key.Extremely pleased with it, the only gripe I has is that it would not recognise a USB Hard drive to play from.I'd recommend this to anyone.
Acer Aspire 5738G - 664G32MN / Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2GHz / 4GB / 320GB / DVD-RW / 15.6 inch / Windows 7 Home Premium / Laptop / Notebook (LX.PEX02.045)
I ordered this laptop on the 22nd of December and Play delievered it on the 24th. Exceptional delivery and free.As for the laptop, well it's fast, windows 7 loads extremely quickly. Yu get Windows 7 Home Premium x64 which has not had any problems with any x86 application i have installed. I believe premium includes the Media Centre applications as wll as Acers own version of it.Good points with the laptop- extremely light- very easy to setup- core 2 duo processor so really fast- full size clicky keyboard and numeric keypad- dolby home theatre sound which blows you away- picture quality excellent
The niggles with the laptop- Big screen but maximum 1366x768 resolution- Mousepad very sensitive- Clunky mouse button- Bluetooth enable/disable button but no bluetooth module fitted
All in all an excellent machine that I am still getting used to and still finding loads of new things about.I woud recommend this for anyone that wants a home media machine as it has hdmi so you can plug it into your cd tv.
A wee note to new users, remember to have some branded blank dvd's handy (4) so you can make Windows 7 install DVD's and additional drivers DVD ( Found under Acer as Acer eRecovery Management)
Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000
Well I got this mouse and had it up and running with in minutes. It has an on/off switch to save power and a pairing button.
I've so far added it to 2 of my XP laptops. What is great is you can be using the laptop touch pad, switch on the mouse and within seconds it is moving the pointer. No mucking about with accept boxes or pairing. Pair it once and you are working.
To pair is easy, switch on the mouse, hit the bluetooth button underneath and then get your pc/laptop to scan for new devices. It prompted me to put in a pin, but that must be a standard message as obviously a mouse cant enter a pin so it went on and installed it.
One of my better purchases I think. No dongles to loose just a mouse.
Shaun White Snowboarding: Road Trip (For Wii Fit)
1 New from
I ordered this last week and the wonderful people at play dropped it through my letterbox 4 days later. At first i thought, just another game jumping on the winter bandwagon. But god i'm hooked.I would say it is the best fun i've had with a wii fit since i got it. I'm nearly falling off, getting into all sorts of weird positions that if any one looking through the window of my house will think i'm in need of medical help.
Also i'm one of those people that doesn't read a manual, so out the box and playing it means it is easy. You can do tricks if you use the handset as well ( i will be perfecting this over the next week or so ).
So i cannot recommend this any highly. Buy it and you will not be dissapointed. You may however be surprised at how easy it is to fall off a wii fit :d
