I have spent the last few months trying to hear this album. The tracks that are available on their webiste are amazing. The videos available are also really good. All the tracks sound solid and seem to be amazing covers. I can't wait to get my hands of the full package. This surely has to be one of the most exciting releases of this year.

    Darker My Love - CD

4 New from  £7.75  Free delivery

    Available  used  from  £6.58

I have seen these guys with The Fall and I fell in love, they are heading out on tour with White lies in a few weeks and I really wish I could get to one of the shows. A fantastic band and a fantastic album to go with it. Late night rock is about right.

  3.  Sweet!

They have chosen some amazing classics to cover on this record. I love the songs and the order that has been chosen is perfect too. Great guitars and two beautiful voices to back it up!

  4.  A Gem!

Another gem from this brilliant band. I cant get over how brilliant the instrumentation is on this record. I love the way the tracks build up to such an amazing peak. Great!

  5.  Beautiful

One of the most beautiful voices I have heard in a long. Such brutal lyrics and beautiful guitar. It all works together to make a fantastic album and one of my favourites so far this year.

  6.  Genius

Dirty beats, smooth lyrical stylings. Superb outing from Ladbroke Groves Finest. He talks about things close to his hear, obviously, and it shows. seriously worth a listen for Hip-Hop enthusiasts and novices alike.

  7.  Standout!

Rocking record from the boys you may have seen supporting The Fall and will see supporting White Lies. This is a stand out track from a stand out band. Could well be the soundtrack to my summer.

  8.  Desert Rock

As if PJ Harvey crashed head on into QOTSA. This record is a fantastic journey through the world that is Desert Rock. Leaping guitars and rocking drums drive this punchy ep. I love it. Just what I needed.

  9.  Amazing!

Beautiful, slow burning, hypnotic, dark edged tracks mixed with influences electronica. It sounds like it should be the soundtrack to Blade Runner!

    Just what the doctor ordered.

  10.  Brilliant!

This single is brilliant, I just wish it got more recognition. I cant remember hearing such northern rock for a long time! Forget Kasabian. White Belt Yellow Tag all the way!
