The Losers (With Exclusive Slipcase And Poster)
If you're looking for a film that involves characterisation, sparkling dialogue and emotional interaction, then don't bother with 'The Losers'. However, if you're looking to switch your brain off for an hour and a half, crack open the beverage of your choice and scoff an appropriate cheesey snack with a few mates then 'The Losers' is a perfect night in! Zoe Saldana and the action sequences should be enough for the lads and the likes of Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Chris Evans ( not the ginger haired idiot from Radio 2, I hasten to add) should keep the ladies distracted. The wafer thin plot doesn't detract from the overall style and gusto of the film and I only hope there's a sequel that matches up. The Play exclusive version is worth buying as it's cheaper than the standard version and comes with a nicely illustrated slipcase and a nifty little poster. Yay!
Moby - CD
7 New from
After the dreadful 'Hotel' I took a break from buying Moby's music, assuming it was all downhill from here. Wrong! As an album this feels more like a complete package than even the god-like genius of 'Play' or '18' as it feels almost like a perfect night out with the up tempo songs leading in to some slower tracks towards the end. I'd love to hear this live, but will settle for annoying the neighbours on a constant basis with the CD.
Bench Men's Kelvin Jacket (Black)
As the weather tends to be unpredictable at best these days I try to by jackets that can either be worn on their own or with a layer or two underneath and still look good and feel comfortable at the same time. This jacket covers those criteria perfectly. It's thin enough to wear when it's a bit cool, but won't look ridiculous with a layer or two underneath. The overall quality of materials and workmanship is excellent, as you would expect from Bench, and as previous reviewers have said, looks good with smart or casual clothes. I tend to be wary of branded clothes as I'm 43 and don't want to look like some sad old git trying to look 25, but Bench always get the balance right with this type of jacket and even my dad could carry it off. Excellent product worthy of the positive reviews.
