Empire: Total War

I have had this since release & the game still will not work. Every other game I have runs sweet, I have a superb gaming rig, but this software is faulty. It just crashes time after time, you will never get a decent game in. I would avoid at all costs, even patch 1.4 is useless. I have finally managed to get a refund from SEGA, although they are calling it a goodwill gesture. Don't touch this game, look at the Total War support forums to prove my point. Awful.

Im a fussy gamer. Few games grip me nowdays- Civ IV, Grand Theft Auto series, Company Of Heroes, Total War series, Crysis to name a few. Batman does the same thing, gives me that feeling of joy when playing it like when I was a teenager and games were more important back then (pre drinking days, lol). It plays sweet, fluid, combat is great & evolves throughout the game, storyline/ characters are amazing & its so hard to put down, so addictive. The software itself runs sweet, no crashes (Not to be sniffed at in this era of incomplete beta releases being pushed on us). Eg, I have a tri sli rig & run max out on 32Q AA SLi & it runs so smooth. Brilliant piece of work & the guys/girls who worked on this should be proud. Buy it, best money spent on a game in ages!

Dont get the comment on the cheap software, lol.
Crysis for £9.99 is amzing. I got it on release (Got a Tri 280GTX Sli machine now, used to have 1 8800GTX) and it choked under the 8800,but if ya got the kit then this is the game to have. Superb game physics & graphics adding too the gameplay. £9.99 is a give away, and yes, this will test your machine more than any other title.
