  1.  Waiting for a re-make

    Posted:

This is certainly a film that should be re-made. The interest in Buddy Holly's life continues and box office figures for the West End show 'Buddy' proves it. This film is full of in-correct facts. Any 'Buddy' guitarist will know that Gary Busey was using a 'CBS' fender Strat...(CBS bought Leo Fender out in about 1963..4 years after Buddys death!). There was no mention of Norman Petty record producer, no mention of 'The Crickets' and Gary's voice was awful...an insult to Buddy Holly...Will someone please RE-MAKE this film!! PLEASE!! There is nothing important in this film and my opinion is: go and see the stage show.
