Apple iPhone 3GS 32GB Sim Free Unlocked Mobile Phone (Black)
I upgraded from the 16gb 3G, and it was worth it. This is faster on both 3g and wi-fi and to launch apps and generally do the biz. The camera is great with a function to touch the screen to set the focus where you want, can edit the videos in the phone. Everything you could ever need, high quality e mail, real browser and apps for just about everything, GPS, route planning and it even makes phone calls!!!
Voice control for calls and the ipod works well, and frankly is freakily accurate.
If you have a mobile me account, there is a feature to use the GPS via your mac (or PC) to find the phone if lost or stolen, and even wipe it remotely.
Just THE phone to own!!!!
Apple iPhone 3G 16GB Sim Free Unlocked Mobile Phone (Black)
Apple looks, Apple ease of use, Apple quality, Apple price, but still worth it. Best phone I have ever owned, phone, e mail, web and an iPod all in one complete package.
Apple MacBook Pro / Core 2 Duo 2.5GHz / 2GB / 250GB / Super Drive / 15.4'' / Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard / Laptop / Notebook
I'm a very new Mac convert, and a big big one at that! Purchased an Imac last month and just fell in love with the way that Macs work. So I decided to treat myself to a MacBook Pro.
It is an awesome piece of kit, Mac operating system is so much better than Windows, I had Vista on my old lappie and Vista is a poor attempt at copying Mac OS.
The battery lasts anything up to 5 hours depending on what you are doing, and even though its just a notebook it handles RAM heavy software very well. The trackpad is a joy to use and has little tweaks that make using it almost as easy as a mouse.
Highly recommended, worth the extra cash to go Mac.
Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED AF-S VR DX Zoom Lens
2 New from
Bought this lens with my Nikon D300, and it was definitely the right choice. The immense focal range means that you never miss a shot thinking I put the wrong lens on this morning.
The VR works well and the a/f is rapid and accurate, produces excellent images.
BOSE SoundDock Digital Music System For iPod (White)
This has to be the best sound that I have ever heard coming from a piece of stereo equipment.
The sound is so rich and lifelike, the perfect balance of bass and treble, it has no graphic equaliser and you don't need one because Bose are the experts and they have set the levels perfectly.
The remote allows you to skip through tracks and onto the next playlist in your I pod. Controls volume and can turn the system both on and off.
No wonder Bose do their 30 day trial, because trust me that once you hear your music coming from a Bose system you will HAVE to buy it.
Nikon D40 6.1 Megapixel Digital SLR Camera 18-55mm Lens Kit Black
Had mine a week now and already fired off over a thousand shots. The quality is excellent and the lens is good for macro work and the longer range stuff. The free imaging editing software isn't bad either if you don't have access to photoshop. The preset shooting modes are really good for the beginner and give excellent results. When you get brave and customise the settings the camera comes into its own. Highly recommended.
RAC 200 Sat Nav GPS System (UK And Ireland Maps)
Very easy to use, the "fuzzy" search function works well meaning you only need to enter a few letters of the road name you're after. Does have the odd camera missing from the routes as the other reviewer stated, but in general they are pretty up to date. More than happy with this unit and the price is well worth paying.
