My Sister and I booked this after recieving at a birthday present from my Boyfriend. We went last Saturday and I have to say it was extremely disappointing.
Good points: The make up artist was friendly and my sister looked fab, I looked a little like a transvestite and looked very orange in the photos not good when your a red head!! The Photographer was really chatty and friendly and made us feel at ease.
Bad points: It was busy cramped and not at all relaxing atmosphere. They told me not to wash my hair that day in the email you get when you book, the make up artist told me this wasn't right and all she did was curl my dirty hair!! Didn't feel too glamourous.
Then there is very high pressure sales at the end and they try and get you to spend 100s of pounts on photos. We told the viewer we had a budget, he told us to forget it. He then procedeed to get us to pay £350 for 15 photos on a CD. When we said we couldn't afford this he told us we should ask someone we new for the money. Luckily I'm not too easily swayed. When I told him we just wanted what came with the package we originally booked, we found out that the deposit for which I paid £50 on top of what my boyfriend paid to get the voucher from Play, was non refundable as this gets used on your supposedly free picture. Extremely disappointing!!!
