  1.  Better than pants!

    Posted:

Not a bad pair of pants if I'm honest!
They're a lovely milk chocolate colour, and the linen is a heavier-than-expected material, making them feel quite good quality.
The sizing isn't particularly generous, and the waist is low-slung (almost like hipsters) so I'm glad I went for a larger size.
They dress up or down well so I think they will soon become a valued addition to the wardrobe!

  2.  Value for money

As the title suggests, this is a cheap and cheerful poster, ideal for adorning any bedroom wall.
Clear and easy to read, its deffinately a must-have purchase for only 2.99

  3.  PMSL!

This is a genuinely funny book which pokes fun at the often scary world of new-parenting.
Sturdy card design (like kids books usually are) it has clear pictures bound to leave you giggling.
The handy "Wheel of responsibility" on the front is designed to assist in the "whose turn is it?" dilema (the book must have been put together by a bloke as it seems a little biased towards "Mom"!)
Would make a great gift for the couple who already has everything!

  4.  It really works!

Must admit, I was very apprehensive about the supposed fantastical design but those inventive Japanese have done it again!
There seems to be something about the music that entrances children. Bright colours, interesting music and amusing sound effects...
Have to say though, for a product designed for the (presumably fraught) parents of crying babies, it is ridiculously difficult to get out of the box! (sounds stupid I know, and it may be the result of too many sleep deprived nights, but I ended up getting a little annoyed to say the least!).
Overall, a good product at a reasonable price :-)

  5.  Great gift Idea

    Posted:

Bought this as a xmas gift for a ford fanatic and he was made up!
A sturdy mug with good quality print - it should last a fair few goes in the dishwasher at least.
Bargain price at 4.99 - well done Play!

  6.  M'eh...

Well, I thought it was funny...
When the mug arrived the print was not as clear as it appeared on the picture. Nothing particularly wrong with it but it isn't of the highest quality - can't really complain for the price though.
Don't think it'll stand the test of time (few trips though the dish washer maybe) but for a short-lived giggle it'll do!

  7.  "Freakin' Sweet"

Bought one of these for my fella for xmas.
Generous sizing, excellent quality material and a clear, good quality print on the picture. Stands up well to washing too - not one of those that falls apart after 3 washes.
Definately a must for any Family Guy fan!

  8.  Gutted

As with all Bench items, I went for the size larger but this still didn't seem enough (I'm usually a 12-14 so bought the large to be safe).
The arms were a good size (I'm quite broad and it wasn't too tight at the top of the arms, plus the sleeves were nice and long), however, the top itself was a bit too tight and too short.
The stripes are a bit large too. It doesn't quite look right for some reason!
I'm gutted to be honest as the material has a nice feel and is of good quality, plus it feels quite comfy and warm despite being lightweight, but I've had to return it as the large was too small and no XL was available :-(

  9.  Worth the wait & the hassle

    Posted:

First and foremost (and I really can't emphasise this enough) CHECK YOUR SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS BEFORE BUYING THIS GAME!!!!
If I'd have read a few more reviews first I may have paid more attention. As it happens, I didn't, and have had to wait almost two months to play the game, having now purchased a new graphics card, more memory and a new DVD drive!
It's deffinately worth the wait though. The gameplay is good, the graphics are fantastic and the level of customisation available is awe-inspiring (but HIGHLY time-consuming). The EA Exchange and store are well worth a look for improving on the limited objects you get with the initial installation, and the range of activities available in the game for your Sim to acquire skills etc are excellent.
I haven't even begun to explore the full extent of this game, (there just aren't enough hours in the day!), but what I've seen so far is top-notch.
There are loads of forums and websites online to provide you with valuable information on any technical issues you have (like driver issues and game patches) or simple gameplay advice. I would also recommend investing in a copy of the gameguide (eBook or hardcopy) to help you get the most out of this game.

If your computer is up to scratch (or you're prepared to part with more well-earned cash in order to make it so), BUY THIS GAME.
Say goodbye to your family, ring in sick at work, turn your phone off...and lose yourself in this excellent addition to The Sims legacy.

  10.  Undecided

I really can't make up my mind about this jacket. The colour is nothing like in the picture. Its more of a dark ash grey (have a look at the other "moonmist" jacket listed) which gives it a uniform-like appearance which i'm not particularly keen on.
However, it's really warm and comfortable and very lightweight. It feels great on and looks semi-smart / casual.
As with most bench items, it is sized a little small which is worth considering before you buy.
I'm not going to return it, but i wouldn't say i was 100% happy with it either...
