Smelly Bill flows beautifully and is matched with relevant and humorous drawings. It is entertaining for both adults and children. My son laughed from the start of the book to the end.

I bought this for my two and a half year old and it is now one of his favourites. The artwork is amazing and one of his pleasures is spotting the characters from other books, such as the Gruffalo in various places.

My two and half year old adores this book and calls it Mum. He likes to shout out the names of the animals as the butterfly and monkey are on their travels. He also attempts to read it himself and 'No, No, No, that's......... can often be heard. The book was also taken into nursery and the other children also adored it.

I would have expected far better from the writers of the Gruffalo. The artwork is excellent and the book flows beautifully, however the subject is very depressing. The age range that this book is pitched at does not need to know about people breaking their legs chasing thieves, cats being left behind to go thin, or an unwanted kitten. Yes the book had a happy ending, but it was a hard road to get there.
Counting in the Sea 1, 2, 3!
A very simple book, yet it has all of the basics for counting within it. My two year old loves to say the numbers, then play shop the Mermaid. The book is read over and over, he even takes it to bed with him. Very colourful and a good introduction not onlut to numbers, but to creatures that don't live on a farm yard.

My two year old adores this book. The book is easy to read, the pictures, theme and words amuse adults and it is just jolly good fun. My son, who cannot say many words, has learnt to say pants from being read this book. Not sure if that is a good thing or not!
