  1.  Poor


    Purchased this item back in May 09. Plays OK and gives good picture on blu ray and good sound. The problem is however, when you play music through it e.g. from an ipod, the unit switches itself off after 40 mins as it thinks it is not being used and this is an energy saving feature. I have been trying to get samsung to fix the problem ever since but they have failed, suggesting that this could be a design fault.
    The Samsung escalation team do not give out a direct number so you have to queue up every time to then get redirected.
    They have eventually agreed to exchange the product - so we will see if the same fault occurs on the replacement, but it has now been 5 months and I have yet to recieve it !
    Due to the combination of the faulty functionality and the poor customer service, I would definitely not recommend this product.
