  1.  classic Bronte

    Posted:

I watched this two weeks ago and it is average enough. The acting and scenery are good but it is typical Bronte - dark, brooding and left me feeling depressed - the twist at the end was like an added after thought - just my opinion. Not sure if i will watch it again.

I bought this last year and I have watched it twice. It is a really fantastic depiction and Alan Rickman is exceptional - as good as he is in Sense and Sensibility in my opinion. Def. buy this - you won't be disappointed if you like period dramas

  4.  Amazing

AMAZING. If you haven't bought this then only question remains - WHY NOT? You will not be disappointed with this purchase. I have already watched it several times and CANNOT wait for Episode three. It is clever, witty, the actors are all excellent - it is up there with the best of them. You will thank me for this recommendation.

This is a wonderful adaptation of Austen's Emma. I have watched this one more than any of the others in my collection. Def. a keeper

I am a huge period drama fan and was very disappointed with this film as the acting was so wooden.
