  1.  Surprisingly Good!

Hard to deny yourself this game for 14.99, with all the extra DLC added in it does present itself as a tempting bargain.

I am not disappointed with the game, I mean, yes, it does have it's flaws but there is a lot of fun to be had to distract you from this.

The vast variety of melee weapons makes for a refreshing change from shooting enemies all the time like in most other games.

I also like how they take damage and require frequent repair, this encourages you to use different weapons in order to preserve the life span of others.

Dead Island is in no way as bad as I was expecting, after reading other reviews and comments on youtube videos I thought it might be an absolute stinker, but thankfully this is not the case.

It's hilarious at times, and excellent fun.

  2.  No Game Break Here

Not sure if a successful patch had been released before I started playing (around 20th December 2011), but I am 90 hours in, level 34 - no problems.

My game is not broken, still 100% playable. All I have encountered is very minimal frame rate issues upon loading from a fast travel that only lasts a few seconds.

I had so many more issues with Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, and the save files on these games were considerably smaller.

So, considering this, Skyrim has blown me away with its capacity to cope with itself.

How anyone can complain I do not know.

Stunning game, very addictive and mind blowing in scale.

OFWGKTA's first hard release, on XL Recordings is 'Goblin', the sophomore effort from Tyler, The Creator.

The hype around Odd Future can result in people not properly considering the music they make. Before hopping on the band wagon it is worthwhile to take the time to actually appreciate the innovations this collective endeavour to make.

In terms of production, OFWGKTA have developed their own style. A style that is unconventional in terms of traditional hip hop. Coupled with Tyler's unflinching lyrics, it makes for a very refreshing combination.

Hate to make the comparison, but you get a feeling of excitement and promise similar to when Eminem dropped the Slim Shady LP. Hopefully Odd Future wont go the same way as Eminem did.....

I used to love hip hop, and never listen to anything else, ever, up until the year 2001. It was at this point that I became disillusioned with the genre, due to an increase in materialistic, egotistic lyricism, excessive RnB collaborations and an obsession with club orientated beats over more traditional, hip hop beats.

Since 2001, I have loosely flirted with the music of MF Doom, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien and Kool Keith. But, it has all been retrospective, until OFWGKTA emerged. This is the first thing happening in current hip hop to excite me in 10 years, mainly due to the fact that there is no major label interfering with what these guys want to do.

Aside from the hype, this is actually a very good record. GOLF WANG.

  4.  A refreshing alternative

This bad ass game is a breath of fresh air, alcohol swilling foul mouthed space pirates? oh yes.

Fed up of the exasperated attempts at realism offered by COD? not a Killzone fan boy? Like FPS games? get Bulletstorm.

Although it is totally unrealistic, the game has excellent graphics and physics.

The defining feature is clearly the skill shot system, how creative will you be when ending the life of your enemy? shoot him in the nuts and then rip his head off with your leash maybe, or perhaps simply feed him to a giant venus fly trap, it's in your hands.

Worth it for the MJ stuff alone

at 17.99, you can't go wrong with this game if you are an NBA fan.

This game contains the most thorough and beautifully executed digital representation of Michael Jordan's career ever seen on a video game.

Along with the association and my player modes the game has hundreds of hours of game play on offer.

This is the first 2K sports game I have played, been playing EA basketball games since the mid 90's. Considering this it was a little bit confusing and took a little while to get used to, but once you do get used to it you will realise that it is far superior to any EA offering.

  6.  Excellent game.

Admittedly I would not have liked to pay full price for this game, but at 17.99 I think it is more than acceptable.

The main issue that seems to crop up is the length, I completed this in three and a half hours on casual. I did not feel short changed by this, as I enjoyed it that much I started again instantly on hard mode (which I already know will take longer to get through).

It looks fantastic, this is no cheaply made rush job. Lovely graphics in game and during cut scenes, great character designs.

You will no doubt be more inclined to like this game if, like me, you love Japanese culture, anime, manga, cyberpunk and all the rest of it as this is clearly a fully Japanese creation.

I have read of people criticising the setting, saying that it is all too similar. Please bear in mind that the game is set solely on a space colony, that in reality would follow some sort of stylistic continuity! Wasn't a problem for me, there was enough subtle variation to keep me pacified, plus I was mostly too busy being engrossed in a chaotic battle to notice!

Not to give away any spoilers but a sequel is surely on the cards, I hope so.

  7.  Nice jacket

It looks really nice on and feels comfortable to wear - this is the main thing.

Although the reason I did not give it 5 stars is due to the fact that it is very tight around the cuffs and is very, very thin.

  8.  As below, perfect!

for 10.99, you really can't go wrong with this case.

Protects the back from scratches, which for me is the defining feature.

Feel a lot more secure handling my iphone now it is encased in this piece of loveliness.

  9.  QOTSA at their best

Arguably the best QOTSA album, it is my favourite.

    Bring on the reissue.

  10.  Leave your expectations at the door

This film is not your typical horror, in any sense of the word.

It is weird and interesting, you can not possibly predict it or expect it to adhere to any conventional narrative traits.

Just watch it and marvel at how messed up and disturbing it is.
