  1.  A great place to start for Sci-Fi fans!

I bought this set when I decided to start collecting classic sci-fi flicks last year and I'm still patting myself on the back for the great choice I made. This is a great place to start for any fan of the genre. In this set you'll find 7 excellent movies which were milestones in Sci-Fi history. You'll probably find a piece of your favourite modern Sci-Fi flick in one or more of these movies. My fave movie in this set has to be The Creature From the Black Lagoon which I've seen countless times now.

If you're just about to start your Sci-Fi collection start with this set and you will not be disappointed!

  2.  Still sends shivers down my spine! (in the good sense!)

The Time Machine is an amazing movie. Every time I see the time-traveller pushing the lever and the machine's wheel spinning I feel the impulse to hold on to my seat, that's how exciting this movie is! It's a great movie which tackles important moral and ethical questions in a fun and entertaining way. A great buy which every Sci-Fi fan should own!

  3.  Very entertaining. Great value for money!

If I had to use just one word to describe this movie with just one word I would say "FUN"! I'm a big fan of these old horror flicks and have to admit that this movie was low on my "To Buy" list but when I finally came round to buying it I wasn't disappointed! House of Dracula, like most monster flicks of the time, is pretty short by today's standards running at just 1 hours 4 mins but it's a very entertaining production which should not be missed by Universal Horror fans!

  4.  Massive Potential, Massive Bugs

I've been a fan of the HoI franchise for a while now and decided to buy HoI 3 even though it got mixed reviews. Hearts of Iron 3 is bigger, more detailed, and more absorbing than its predecessors. I thoroughly enjoyed it during the first few hours of gameplay. The AI is very impressive. At times it felt like I was playing chess with a human player. You have to think 4 or 5 moves ahead of your opponent if you want to have any chance of winning the campaigns, especially if you're leading a nation with limited resources.

Unfortunately, after the first few hours, the game starts to bog down for some reason. Possibly rushed programming to meet release deadlines. The game starts to stutter terribly and at times it seems on the verge of grinding to a halt altogether (freezing). Till now 3 patches have been released and this major issue is still very present. It's a shame because the game is very challenging and forces the player to take the AI seriously or face dire consequences. Hopefully its flaws will be ironed out eventually.
