As a huge bodybuilding fan i really enjoyed this book, however, my opinion of Flex as a person leaves something to be desired.
His one sided views regarding his own behaviour and attitude toward others was a constant irritation. He has had a hard life to be fair, but two wrongs don't make a right.
His naivety towards steroids after being repeatedly told to stop taking them is so common in many young men who take part in the sport that hopefully this will be a rude awakening for them.
If you participate or enjoy bodybuilding then this is a good insight into this world and a decent sports biography.
The Time Traveler's Wife

I first read this book a few years ago and absolutely loved it! I immediately made my wife read it and she also found it compelling reading.
The film does not do this book justice, as they never do, but this is an absolute page turner of immense quality.
Absolutely love this!!

Don't get me wrong, this book is different to any book Ii have read before and to this Iapplaud the author. This book is meant to be written by the 5 year old boy who has never known life outside the room and at first I found this a bit hard to get into but after 40 or so pages I managed to get into it.
The book is ok, its not the best book ever as has been claimed by some! It is one of the most original books of its time but this does not make it a classic!
Its worth a read, and the characters do become quite likeable, i was just let down as the book was really over hyped and left me wanting more.
PES 2011: Pro Evolution Soccer
Well worth the wait! Massively improved on last years, although the new passing system takes a bit getting used to. Disappointed that the squads arent totally up to date but this is a much more realistic footballing game than Fifa anyday! Buy it!
The Day of the Jack Russell

After reading Mystery Man, which is excellent, i got this book and it just follows on in the same hilarious manner. I would advise to read Mystery Man first as it kind of follows in with the character storylines.Buy them both, you won't be disappointed.

Bought this book based on a review in Metro paper. They compared it to 1984 which is one of my favourite books ever. Was a little disappointed as it was a very tame watered down version, still readable though. The back of the book contained an interview with the author in which she states the book is meant for teenagers which may explain the lack of darkness/drama/grit what have you. A decent book but 1984 it aint.
