  1.  A Great British Comedy

I thought this film was wonderful. Not the biggest budget movie you'll ever watch, but Stephen Frears did good! A simple, yet funny film, set in beautiful countryside and all characters are comical and quirky. Credit to the 2 young teens who stole the show! The language is colourful, but not overly offensive - just adds to the humour! Give it a go, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

  2.  One for the CD collection

I bought this album off the back of a reccommendation plus I really like the track firework. I wasn't disappointed! There are a couple of filler tracks, which you always get, but to be fair it's still a very good album. Circle the Drain (this is the track with the odd swear word!) is a good track plus Last Friday Night. For the sake of a fiver give it a go!

  3.  The Truth Is - It's Something Beautiful!

Utterly brilliant album. Her voice is 'Something Beautiful'. Couldn't agree more with the other reviews - especially the comments about no filler tracks. This is one of the few CD's I've lsitened to whereby you don't feel the need to skip to the next track. All the tracks are either upbeat / quirky, not to mention sung beautifuly throughout. I think her voice is partriculary incredible in the title track. In short, a MUST HAVE for your cd collection.

  4.  Pants Tastic Book!

With so many to choose from, I had no idea which book to buy for my 8 year old nephew, and I'm delighted I picked this one.

It has 3 stories in 1, which are; "The Adventures Of...", "Attack of the Talking Toilets" and "Invasion of the Incredibly Naughty Cafeteria Ladies From Outer Space". My nephew absolutely loved it and has already requested the 2nd compilation; "Three More Wedgie-Powered Adventures In One" which has the following stories in it; "Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants", "Wrath of the Wicked Wedgie Woman" and "Big, Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy, Part 1".

I shall definitely be buying this compilation also, as this kept an 8 year old lad amused not to mention quiet.....except of course, for when he was laughing out loud!

    Highly recommend.

  5.  Timmy Tastic!

This is a super little gift for Timmy Time fans. The DVD comes with a limited edition minature Timmy plush & there are 8 episodes in all - long enough to attract your little one's attention but not too long so as they become distracted. Well worth a fiver. I saw the same product in ELC for double the price!

  6.  Marmite My Mate - Fab Sarnie Box!

    Excellent little gadget!
Initially bought this for a work colleague who always brought his lunch in, in a tesco carrier bag every day!. He was pleased to bits with it! He does not scrimp when it comes to his sandwiches, so wouldn't agree that it's too small for a good sized sarnie. It looks fab and is certainly worth the money. It was so popular in the office that I've ordered 2 more! (Would make a great stocking filler / secret santa - worth getting now)!

  7.  Excellent

I bought this as a xmas gift for my three year old niece. To say she was delighted would be an under statement. I'd read reviews on other sites which suggested the dolls don't say much / too quite / difficult to operate etc - well I would disagree entirely. Charlie reads a whole host of stories, the volume's just right and they're easy enough for a 3 year old to operate. The dolls also came with a memory card game, which just added to the fun. Quite simply, money well spent on a gift that has given hours of fun. A bargain at that price!
