  1.  SONY XDR-S56DBP

I've owned this little radio for about 4-6 months.
Generally it looks nice but thats about as far as the positives go. I've never used it with batteries, just the mains so cannot comment on battery life.

The first problem with it is that it takes ages to start up and initialise (about 20 seconds). Also it always starts on Absolute 80's radio station (which I hate!). This is really annoying and then you have to re-tune it in again to station you prefer. The buttons are not very nice either. The tuning button is a swizel one on the side of the case.

When I was using it earlier in the kitchen the radio cut off. No light on the display or sound but still writing and words displayed on the screen. I tried turning it off and on, still no sound. I gave up tried it 2 hours later and it worked again. Strange....

Oh, and lastly, the sound quality is very poor, not as good as Pure Classic which I also have. Not very impressed with this little radio. Maybe I'm expecting too much and have been spoilt by the FM sound quality compared to the DAB poor quality.

I have many of the classic Bob Dylan albums but this is one of my favourite albums, probably my most favourite of his. There is just no bad songs on it. Brilliant. Definitely a must for Dylan fans.

This is a brilliant album. I have all the Black Keys other albums and this one is great as well as the others. Just been to see them live and they were fantastic. A must buy.

  5.  HP Deskjet 1000 PRINTER

The printer looks good and works well so far, only installed it last night. The price is good too.

HP should really really consider including a USB cable in the package. It is so annoying not to be able to use the printer once delivered. I would happily pay 1.50 extra for a USB to be included in the price.

The reason for buying this is that it was cheaper to buy a new printer with two new cartridges than to buy just cartridges for my old HP Deskjet (1 year old). This is really mad....There is no way this is environmentaly friendy.

  6.  First album

This is one of my favourites in my Neil Young collection. Very good songs, more on the folk influence than heavy rock sound. I have both this remastered version on CD and the original CD. Both versions are good. A must buy and a good listen.

  7.  After The Goldrush

I remember first hearing this fantastic album on my parents vinyl player, it was spine tingling with the hiss and pops you get with used records and gave an amazing atmosphere. Then I bought the CD and now this new remaster of the CD album. I think the remaster is clearer and nicer sound in general. IMO this album has the edge over Harvest. If your a N. Young fan, or even if you are not yet this is one of the best places to start collecting music. Absolutely love this album. A must buy.

Brilliant CD of a very good gig. If your a N.Young fan your definitely need to get this one, especially if your like his acoustic work. I've owned this for about 1-2 years and still look forward to playing it everytime.
