  1.  A long wait but worth it

I have been trying to get this for my beloved for years. We have an old video copy from the TV which is fast becoming unwatchable and I was thrilled to find it on both the regular DVD websites just a few minutes ago. Why its taken so long to become available I just don't know. I am not normally one for smaltzy films with children in them but this is really fabulous.
If you've not seen it, do buy it now. You won't regret it.

  2.  Moving

I bought this shortly after it's release and was knocked out by it. I have just started playing it again, having brought it into work to lend to a colleague and i had forgotten just how moving it is, even after all this time. The opening section, basically a re-run of the news item by Michael Buerk brought tears to my eyes all over again, while the acts are phenomenal. For me, Queen and Dire Straits stand out in particular but, frankly, Bowie, Elton,Jagger & Tina Turner, it's all fabulous. Whether you remember the day or not, if you like the early 80's music, buy this straight away. Admittedly, I found the USA section not quite as good as the UK one, but, hey, who cares, it's worth it just to see Freddy Mercury with the Wembley crowd in the palm of his hand! I promise you won't be disappointed.
