  1.  Dido - Safe Trip Home

I know some people think that Dido is a waste of space on the CD shelves but she is just so easy to listen to and each album is better than the last in my opinion. This album hasn't let me down, it's full of new sounds, more melodies and some excellent tracks. Go on, give it a try. Hide it when your mates come round if you have to but I don't think having a Dido album or 3 is anything to be ashamed of. It can't be any worse than Alexandra absolutely ruining Hallelujah!

  2.  Fantastic!

I was gobsmacked and excited when I listened to this album for the first time. It's very different to anything he's done before and might not be to 'classic' Weller fans taste. He is a very clever musician and could so easily ride on the waves of past sounds and successes - not this man, he's reinvented himself again and produced an amazing sounding album. I think this one could be hard to top, it's got to be one of the best yet and I never thought he'd be able to outdo Stanley Road! WRONG!
